For me too now, it seems to be fixed. I guess it was some more complicated caching thing? I had also checked in Chrome and Opera, and also cleared all cache at my host, and I was still getting that error. But in any case now it’s functioning again; maybe some caching things just take time?

Thanks. That almost works, but it only seems to have an effect on the text that the user types; the other text remains normal size. And when I turn off “Keyword highlighting”, then it doesn’t have any effect.

I think I’ve fixed it. It was Stackable block below the search bar, some kind of “recent posts” or “top posts” block, and when I removed that block and just added a normal paragraph block with text, the search results displayed fine, i.e. on top of the other text on the page, and the displayed links are properly clickable, etc.

Okay thanks, not the end of the world.

Another related question on the search, though: whenever I enter a search request, the results overflow onto other text on the page. I would send an image but I don’t think that is possible in this forum. Do you know what I mean? Is that a known thing?

Okay thanks. Yes at the moment I just use categories to divide the posts of different languages. I realize that using a real multilingual system is better, but my site is already set up and I don’t want to change everything, especially seeing as many of the Spanish pages are already ranking. Thanks for looking into it, though.

I will also try clearing the cache again, though I already do that reflexively like 10 times a day.
