This is the URL I want to use for the button. Could it be complicating things with the parameters at the end?

I’ve just copied and pasted it exactly as is from the URL bar in the browser.

Here’s the URL the button is trying to use:

Note the single / after the https:

I’m having the same problem, but have definitely included the https://
My URL has some ? queries in it. Could that effect things?

There’s an option to notify Google of changes, but when I look at the sitemap file, it was generated 6 weeks ago ??
Am I notifying Google of an outdated, incorrect sitemap?

Mate – it’s nowhere near that easy.

I want to like this plugin. It’s robust. Apologies if I’m being curt. But I just spent 4 hours going around in circles because of the above advice.

Is this:
Add id or class when editing the fields in the contact form. Eg:

<label> Name* (required)
    [text* your-name class:form-field] </label>

THEN style that in css. Eg:

.form-field {
    width: 90% !important;
}

THEN (and this part make a difference)
Ctrl+F5 (eg refresh browser cache.
The change didn’t take effect until then for me.

I appreciate the effort, but at this point I’d rather just keep it simple and remove the abandoned plugin.

If you set up a fork and supported it ongoing, then I’d use it (not that I’m asking you to) but otherwise, it might just cause more headaches down the line – for both you to keep supporting your fix, and for users to keep “hacking” updates instead of going through the official update / support interface.

If it was for one site, and I really needed the funationality, I’d go for it. But I manage 60 websites, and they hardly ever change their opening hours, so I’ll just switch to displaying them with text and not complicate things.

The menu is displaying. Just not the body; footer; sidebar.

Thanks for the details. I posted the same problem (never had it before, do this all the time).

I’ll see if the .htaccess issue explains my problem. I’ll look for this first, if I ever have this problem again.

Define “misconfiguration”…

I turn the admin bar off on the frontend, because it’s annoying.
I put wordpress in its own directory to keep things tidy. I don’t need to read those instructions, because I do this every few days on a new install, and have committed them to memory.

I haven’t mucked up settings like a newb. I have set those things that way because that’s how I prefer to work.

Do I need to set them back to default for your plugin to work now? (I use your plugin on every build, and have only seen this once).

Thanks for the great plugin. I install it on fresh WP installs at least once a week. This problem is not a newb effort.

An even fresher install seems to work fine, with both of those things set the way I usually have them… ??
