Incidentally I cannot upgrade to 2.9 as it will break my theme.

OK this is driving me crazy!!

BUNCH OF CRAZY RIGHT HERE

Are Plugins info stored or cached anywhere else? Apart from the actual /plugins/ folder, where else would it read from?

I’ve done that but it’s made no difference.

The crazy thing is, when I rename the /plugins/ folder, they are still visible on the ‘edit plugins’ page as per the screenshot above.

Anybody?

OK guys it seems to be plug in related.
I upgraded all my plugins this evening and it’s now working again.
Here’s a list of my plugins, can’t remember which I upgraded but if you’ve got this problem it’s worth cross-referencing yourself.
