just return to the default WP theme for a few days and see if that works out – if, yes, your theme is at fault.

problem fixed!

replaced with the original styles.css, edited my custom background images back into it and all is well again.

displays fine in both browsers!

copy/past from OpenOffice a problem?

my testing shows every post written/created under IE7, as admin logged in, got a bad post title alignment.

Postings created under Firefox show up fine in both browsers.

I tested the problem on two different systems and it definitely looks like there is somehow an IE7 incompatibility with the Write editor in WP.

I am using the WP default theme – just added two background images to the appropriate css code sections.
