I’ve been using an old kubrick theme since ’04 & don’t want to really change the backend too much b/c there are a lot of built in customizations w/ respect to indiv pages on the site. Everything works perfectly, save for this lil’ issue.

any ideas on how to resolve this w/out going w/ the default WP permalink settings…?

oops! can someone move this into themes & templates. I accidently hit post before changing the category ??

I just went through the same issues just last week.

Dedicated server is the only solution for you.

Also, if you get around 400+ comments a day & you want to display comment activity, make sure you grab this:

I’ve literally tried out every other plugin & they all crashed the web server, but for some odd reason, this plugin handles high loads wonderful (high loads around 180k daily pageviews w/ around 500-700 comments/day)

Anyone know how to get copies of emailed posts? The email-to-a-friend feature works, but I would like to get a copy of the posts emailed so that I may gauge popularity.

From what I remember, the first version was only titles, but then the Author threw the custom fields into the mix. He has a better explnation in docs included w. the plugin.

there’s a small issue that worked for me.

Find:
$backup[‘path’] = ABSPATH.’wp-backup-db’;

add the ‘/’ to make it look like this:

$backup[‘path’] = ABSPATH.’wp-backup-db/’;

before this change it wasn’t making any backups on my end either & after, it worked like a charm!

My posts were already indexing fine w/ technocrati prior to the plugin, but now visitors can go directly to that category on technorati w/ a single click

is there anyway you can keep the comma in there? It’s just an aesthetic thing ??
