Well?

I hope I don’t get dinged for bumping again, but I found out some more pertinent information. As it turns out, even though I can’t see the text in the text box, it’s still there. So, I tried posting a blog and it worked. But I have no control icons under the visual mode and the html mode does not work and I can’t add tags as well as do other things, like screen options and help tabs are dead.

So WordPress seems to be working EXCEPT for one page, the new post page.

I just switched to the twentyten theme but I still have the same problem.

Ok, I deactivated all plugins. (If you like, I can delete they as well).

Ok, I’ve cleared all cash and cookies in IE 9.

As you know, the default tab when you go to the new post page is visual. This tab and the html tab do not work, meaning nothing happens when they are clicked (as in dead links). So, nothing has changed, same issues with dead links, tabs and typed text does not appear in post box.

I may get dubbed for “bumping”, but I thought of something relavent that may help. My ad-min page is just fine and my dashboard page works just fine too… it’s the https://your-net-store.com/blog/wp-admin/post-new.php that is not working correctly, all other WP pages seems to be functioning correctly.

I’m unable to post because text doesn’t show in post box and word count remains zero… Please read my first post on this thread carefully. There is a serious malfunction with WordPress for this kind of behavior to be happening.

By the way, if moderators don’t answer or respond to a post for 2 or 3 days, then how are you supposed to “get their attention” without re-posting? And also, if you post another comment before they respond, they get you for “bumping”. It’s like you can’t win, you know?

I downloaded a fresh WordPress and re-uploaded (except wp-content) via FTP but there is no change. It is acting the same as before as I described in my first post.

@ esmi I have done all the steps listed above but the problem still exists. How can type be invisable in the text box and some of the buttons and links work, while others do not work?
