Thanks for letting me know. I’m currently working on an update to add additional functionality right now, so I can take a look at this problem too. I’ve not experienced any problems though – can you help me understand what’s not working for you?

I uploaded the source code several hours ago, but it’s not showing. I may have to get the WordPress team to bump it. In the meantime, you can download the latest version and install it manually if you like.

There was no root override attribute for the bex_upload shortcode, so I’ve added that with 1.9.1. For your example, it would be:

[bex_folder root="financials" sortdir="D"]
[bex_upload root="financials"]

I’ve just added this functionality with version 1.9.0.

Thanks for your feedback. I’d started to design and develop out that functionality a few months ago, but I never completed it. I’ll revisit your ideas though and see if I can implement them. It may be September 2015 before I get to it based on my current workload.

Ahh localhost – I’ve had one other person report that. I think it’s down to the way Dropbox hands off the authentication back to WordPress. Let me look into that a little more – that’s helpful to know.

I suspect there was a problem in authenticating the plugin with Dropbox which caused this. I’ve just released version 1.8.0 with handles this case in a better fashion than you encountered, but for now I would try the following:

On the Blighty Explorer admin page (the admin/backend page where you’re seeing the error), change the URL in the browser address bar by adding: &bex_reset=1 to the URL. i.e. so it is something like ?page=blighty-explorer-plugin&bex_reset=1

This will reset the error. Then update the plugin to 1.8.0 and try again.

I’ve been working on a solution for this and it’s about ready for release. There will be lightbox support with v1.8.0 of this plugin within the next 24-48 hours.

I’ve just published 1.7.0 which allows for file sorting, either via a default setting, shortcode attribute or manually in the UI.
