didn’t try that on the test site, but that works on my live site.
I’ll check and let you know.Hello, I’m using the Events Manager plugin.
I tried the new iCal import but that gives some very strang results.
I tried importing two different ICS files, these are the results:
File 1 has 35 events in total
After importing I see:
19 Created
1253 Updated
(After deleting all events and locations I retried this file and got the result 1272 updated)
What happend is that the import added 19 events and it added 1 location.I then imported a second file, consisting of 110 events, which gave the following results:
1 Created
67 UpdatedThere are now 43 events in total and 25 locations, which does not match what was in the imported files.
I can send you the files if you want.
Thanks, Ray.
Hi, thanks for the prompt reply.
When I look at the event.ics file from Events Manager, there is a line like:
ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://i2.wp.com/www.blevley.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/art-futura1.jpg?fit=677%2C840&ssl=1I added a line to the ICS file with ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:<url of image>, but that is just ignored.
I added something to my original post, which you probably didn’t see:
Another useful addition would be to be able to assign an owner when importing events, I’m going to be adding people to maintain events, but I don’t want them to use this tool, that is something I want to control myself.Again, thanks for the great work.
You can use WP Event Aggregator, another plugin. This does import of Eventbrite, Facebook and Meetup.
I think it may be a bug after all. I did a fresh install today and checked this out, it does not show the “distance” option.
This is the latest WordPress and Events Manager. You can see the search box on this page: https://zwankhuizen.com/blevley/events/
It is also not working on my live site, but there are too many plugins and another theme which could interfere.
I’m looking into using this as well.
Could you post the Custom Fields and mapping you’re using?
When I try WP All Imports tells me it inserted xxx records, but none show up.Strangely enough it does copy the images.
I’ve been using qTranslate-X for this, works like a charm.
You can decide which languages to use, pre-select events based on the users browser info, and they can change when they want another language.I’m using the “Next Scripts: Social Networks Auto Poster” plugin for this, works like a charm for FB, didn’t try a newsletter though.

In reply to: [Post Grid and Gutenberg Blocks - ComboBlocks] Showing expired postsHello, I would really like to use this functionality and would purchase the premium version if that works.
Is there a time-limited premium version so I can make sure everything works as I would like it to?Regards,

In reply to: [WP Ultimate Post Grid] Show Events Manager eventsThanks for the reply, I’ll see if I can get it to function.
The example you posted does not change anything, but I’ll dig a bit deeper into this.Okay, how dumb can I be? One of the events had 2017 as the year of the start date, instead of 2016 ??
Sorry for the trouble, everything works fine (again).Regards.
That’s correct, I added that so you can see which is ascending, descending or not sorted.
Actually there is a change, but not what I expected.
You can see the result on my homepage (https://www.blevley.com), it’s really weird.
I also tried messing with the “grouping” option (none, dayily, weekly), but that made no difference at all.I tried that, makes no difference. To make sure I also cleared all caching, but still the same result.

In reply to: [Post Grid and Gutenberg Blocks - ComboBlocks] Showing expired postsHi, sorry about the delay, a few things came up and I could only recently continue work on this.
I tried the orderby solution in the free version, but that only causes an “no posts found” error message.
Maybe I need to invest in the premium version, it seems to do what I’m looking for.Regards.
