Ha it was the memory issue, I had just forgotten to retart the server to pick up the change.

Didn’t pick anything up from there, other than there is not even any source code being returned to the page when it is accessed.

The whole apache, php, mysql stack is (as far as my poking around as well) configured correctly as I have another php application (ampache) running correctly on it. All of the configuration though is the default as you would get on a fresh Debian install.

One thing that I have changed is the max memory from 8m to 16m. When running install.php from the command line it broke requireing more memory access. Is this a red herring or have I caught onto somthing here (the change didn’t make it work btw).

    Cheers

Fresh download and extracted into the required directory.

Tried both of those, install-helper, returns to the

“It doesn’t look like you’ve installed WP yet. Try running install.php.”

screen, while install.php shows blank on this machine. Checking live-http-headers shows response codes of 200 from both pages.

    Any more ideas?

    Cheers
