Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: RSS feed brokenI very carefully tried all those things, then realized it is not the feed. And it is not WP, it must be a server setting, as I can put a fresh install of WP on this server and then not be able to access the feed. Other sites can add it fine. They are both now on the same VPS with their own domain. Still unsure of how to fix it but I’m getting closer.
bah! it was the background image in the rules for body

In reply to: Help, Wp-Realty Plugin? We bought the “Developer” version of wprealty over two weeks ago and are EXTREMELY unimpressed. Once you purchase it, you log in to their back end to download and must navigate through “my services” and instantly know what their icons mean in order to download the plugin. If you click on “Downloads”, that area is EMPTY. Kind of like the Knowledge Base. We have been trying to work with their “Guaranteed VIP Setup” for the last two weeks and still do not have a simple template tag working to display an index of listings on the main page of the website. It is absolutely pathetic. All of the info on their site is for SALES only, once you purchase, it doesn’t work and there is no way to help yourself get it up and running… they simply have ZERO documentation.

In reply to: Migrate WordPress to another serverThat’s great to know. Next time I need to waste several hours I will ignore the instructions too.
Which instructions? If you mean the export/import “instructions”, you will lose site data like your “blogroll”.
I have done several migrations recently and I find rapidtronics steps required.
