In reply to: Updating Translations Does Not Update – 2021I am not translating anything. When you run plugin updates, or theme updates, at the very bottom of the update page, it comes up with translations need updating too. You click a button to update them.
What I am saying is when I click that button, and it updates the translations for whatever plugin it may be, it used to go away, but now it is forever stuck on there.

My sites now tell me I need to update the translations. I run the update, it runs successfully, but it still tells me I need to run them again.
Not sure why this is happening?

The options are vast for sure, it was a little overwhelming. If I am totally honest, you have so much writing for each section, that in itself kind of put me off. Not because it wasn’t instructing, it was, but more so because it made the whole thing feel like I needed to be very careful about what I was doing. Kind of tiptoeing around the options rather than just diving in to build.
If you have to have paragraphs of text to explain how everything is put together, in my personal opinion, you have not made it user-friendly, it would be the opposite.
I’m a 16+ year web manager and consultant. So I do know my way around plugins. This was definitely a goer on a larger scale project, but not quite what I required, and certainly not something I could hand over to my client. ??

I actually disabled it on my own site as was not using it but Updraft still fails to run.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it, I have changed background to a pattern and that is working absolutely fine across all devices.
It may have just been a bug somewhere but if I can try to explain what we saw, on the mobiles it was displaying our background image at the top and it had pushed the site page container out to the right of it or to the bottom of it. This only appeared to be the case for those two mobile devices, and only on their standard browsers. If you used say Chrome for mobile it worked fine.

Great theme – what do you think of my customisations so far? Would really like it if I could become a featured project on your site… ??

I have found the solution to my woes! (Well I say solution more of an error that I caused)
I had added the “trick” for speeding up my dashboard; define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );
Well turns out that after disabling every plugin, testing with no luck, returning my wp_config file back to normal ie deleting this line of code actually made a huge difference not just to speed the dashboard up, but it also started to show me how many sites I have in the network!

The problem isn’t with the plugin so much but more to do with Google not liking the main network site’s XML. All other network site’x XML’s are submitted fine.
The main XML file generated which I submit to Google comes up saying it is a HTML file.

The site is https://www.aspectexhibitions.co.uk – You will need to click on one of the popup’s on the side called Request a Quote or Request a Callback.
You will see that validation works on errors but when you actually send an email the success message no longer gets shown because of the on_sent_ok installation.
Not sure how to get around this.
