UPDATE: I learnt you add <?php comments_template(); ?> to the bottom of the pages.php file (well within the container) you will enable comments on pages. Problems solved! ??

UPDATE : I reset my permalinks to default. Comments are now possible on posts, but not pages!

I tried switching to the default theme, as well as countless other themes, and it doesnt chagne anything. I have selected all the boxes to allow for commenting in my global settings and on each post/page. But nothing has changed. I really need to have comments as well because I plan on having an educational side to my website. Thanks again

second thought, other templates work fine without editing, i shall use them
