I tried to delete the ithemes plugin and got another critical error message and it would not delete ??

I logged into my hosting panel and deleted the folder you suggested and now ithemes has gone from my website.

I have decided to go with Wordfence instead, can’t be bothered to fiddle around trying to figure out what is wrong with ithemes.

PHP is 7.4.19

I have done nothing recently, no upgrades other than wordpress automatically upgrading to 5.7.2

Sorry, I don’t know what a full stack trace is, I am a novice user. This problem came up because I received an email from wordpress saying my site had a technical issue. I was unable to access my site without going to my hosting site and turning off all the plugins. Once I was able to get to my dashboard I reactivated all my plugins one by one and when I went to reactivate ithemes I got the message that it could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Should I delete ithemes?

Sorry, I somehow got this topic in the wrong plugin area but cannot delete or move it to the ithemes plugin forum.

Correct, it shows how to add a “more” block which when opening the full blog post creates a gap in the text. I can’t figure out how to get rid of the space between the blocks or get the read more tag in the middle of a text block.

The link to the blocks guide does not explain how to insert a read more tag in the middle of a block. The other link is showing me how to use the read more tag in classic editor, which I have been using for a few years now. I am trying to see if the same thing can be done in block editor, which so far I don’t think it can.

It seems to be working now, not sure why, perhaps just a delay. I moved the location of the read more and it now works.

It appears the emails were never sent so I deleted the report and sent the emails using the broadcast function. Not perfect but the emails have at least gone out now. Will wait for your next update to hopefully fix this bug.

I am using WP Mail. I have not changed any of my settings recently and everything worked before the update. I checked again and I can now send and receive a test email. I received an email to admin saying the campaign had been sent (hours after the post was published) and the CRON URL was triggered successfully but I did not receive the notification email of a new post being published that I normally get when this works. How do I check that the emails were actually sent?

Getting no help with this I had to revert back to WP 4.9 version and now my website is working again. Not perfect but I could not continue to be unable to update my site. Good luck!

Nope, not for me. I have had the Classic Editor plug in for quite a while now and it does not work in the latest upgrade. If you go to the forum on the Classic Editor, a lot of people are having the same problem. They are referring to it as white text coming up so you cannot see it, but nobody has got a fix yet. Not updating WP may not be a good idea but updating it makes my website useless so have no choice but to stay on an old version. Thanks for your input.

@shotod I tried everything that anyone on WP suggested, all to no avail. I worked with my hosting provider, nothing on their end. Utterly frustrated I went back to WP 4.9 version and all has been good since then. I will not be upgrading anytime soon give the lack of support getting problems fixed ?? My suggestion to you is to revert back to an earlier version of WP, it is the only thing that worked for me. Good luck!
