I figured some of this out on my own. I turned off the built-in “Search in Menu” option in the Vantage theme. I added a new menu item for the Search and in the menu CSS code I put in the awesome font for the magnifying glass (fa fa-lg fa-search). It is now wrapping the menu around and doesn’t have the magnifying glass to the left of the Search word. I have extra space on both sides and have tried to stretch out the menu to use the whole area. I have this CSS code so far:

.main-navigation {
text-align: center;
width: 100%
}

.main-navigation ul {
display: inline-block;
float: none;
}

Can anyone help me get the extra space on the sides so my menu doesn’t wrap around and also help get the icon and word together? I need CSS code if possible as I don’t have a child theme.

Thanks Greg for getting back to me. I guess I can always leave the embedded form on the contact us page and then just create a separate page with a duplicate form to use for accessing it from the sidebar on other pages. This bundle is really nice, especially for newbies like me. Thanks!!!!!

Ulfben I do appreciate the plug-in. I just felt you were being a bit rude to ones of us that are new. We all have to learn right? Is your book list up-to-date?

Wow! You are much nicer than me Oxojeck. I’m going to come right out and say how rude ulfben. Why do you have this plug-in available to people if you don’t want to help them use it???? There is no reason for you to be rude or belittle the ones of us that are new to all this and don’t have the knowledge you have. I have used lots of plug-ins and never didn’t understand at least how to use it. If your instructions were written better and you had better screen shots showing the steps and how to use the templates, maybe we wouldn’t of had to ask you how to use it. Even then you didn’t give any more useful info on how to use it. No other person has ever been rude whenever I did need to ask a question. Maybe you should reconsider doing something where you don’t deal with people. Just saying. Thanks for nothing.

Unfortunately, I can’t just give you the website. The DNS is currently pointing to the current website that this will replace. I did finally get the text to show, but it still wasn’t spaced exactly right. I need to allow the customers to input the information so I found one that allows that, but I do appreciate you getting back to me. Thanks!

@ulfben – if I’m looking at the information correctly, it doesn’t appear that I can make a folder called PDF. It doesn’t look like that is one of the options. Am I reading that correctly? It is still somewhat confusing to me, but I think I understand it a little more now. If it is possible to do it with making the folder name PDF, could you please elaborate a little more as I’m new to WordPress. Thanks!

I’m a newbie and I really need to upload a bunch of files into a directory of their own and it sounds like this plug-in will do just what I need. I am on WP version 4.4 and want to see if it will work. Just like the person above, I don’t understand how I make a new folder to put these specific files into. Can you please help me out? I want to make a subfolder named PDF and load a bunch of PDF files into it. Thanks!

Hi: I am a newbie. I have created a “contact us” form and did fine with that. I also have created a button for it so that I can add it to other pages than my “contact us” page. I am trying to figure out if there is any way to get a link to the embedded form on my “contact us” page? Do I have to make the form a separate page of it’s own? I was hoping to just link to the one I have, but I don’t see any way to do that. Any help would be appreciated.
