I’m sorry you encounter issues with Comet.

If you can’t activate on your webserver but on your local server, it’s probably because your php version is not compatible.

I’ve get the same fatal error with WordPress 5 and I fix it as soon as possible. I’ve to test some others point before.

There is too much plugins to test Comet with another but I can say that it’s not safe to activate 2 (or more) “page builder” by website.
Also, plugins that use shortcode and javascript and that you would want to include from the Text element, will potentially broke your website.

If you have trouble about the compatibility with Comet and a particular plugin, please tell me.

Sorry for not responding you earlier but thank you for your advice!
It’s not necessary for us to work with the author of CCC, Comet is very specific.

For 2 weeks we worked hard on Comet 2.1.0 and we hope that you’ll love our columns builder, the redesign and more ! Comet 2.1.0 will be published on November 12 2016 ??

To be honest we want to incorporate to Comet a system that allows to create custom columns for a long time.

We don’t know CM CSS Columns plugin and how it works exactly but Comet does not use shortcodes to store data so you can use shortcodes you want.
We try hard to use CSS classes that aren’t common but proper to Comet.

Don’t hesitate to post a review of Comet if you are satisfied with it.

Yes please wait 15 minutes and redownload Comet 2.0.1

Comet has been checked on PHP 5.6.23 until PHP 7.0.8, but we detect a potential error that could appear on some sites.

We are fixing it but we cannot check it because this error does not happen to us. So you’ll find Comet 2.0.1 in a few minutes. Hope that will fix the bug.

@agumdoo and @ramonjosegn: Could you tell me which version of Wamp ( or other ) and/or which version of PHP please ?

We are sorry but no error happens to us after activating Comet on a new install of WordPress 4.6.1.

Please can you change your theme and then activate Comet ?
Also can you list us your plugins ? Which version of WordPress are you using ?
