In reply to: HTTP errors on media uploads after 4.5 updateHere is the solution to your sound/media files failing to upload into your Media Library.
I have now uploaded 8 x 20 minute MP3 audio files to my website: ifpainpersists.com without any hiccups!
Firstly go to – https://www.nch.com.au/software/macaudio.html?gclid=CM20qpWHk88CFYWYvAodMrcKgA
Top left hand corner, click on Download Mac for WavePad Audio Editor, save zip file.
Open your sound file and “save as” (remembering to rename it as WavePad to distinguish it from your original sound file)
Save into WordPress media library (add new) as you would do normally, be patient and wait until you see the the word “crunching” before you touch ANYTHING! Your file should then appear in your Media Library.
Don’t ask me why this works – perhaps I am an accidental genius!!!!

In reply to: Can I just delete my current site & start again from scratch?Thank you for this Sterndata. The WordPress support pages are full of amazing information.
I installed the WordPress Re-set plug in and this has taken the Theme back to where we wanted. So sorry if I wasted your time.

In reply to: Can I just delete my current site & start again from scratch? My question is very similar. We made some fundamental errors moving pages around after installing our WordPress Theme and haven’t loaded up content yet.
I can’t find any information on the Softiculous script in the Control Panel. Can we uninstall the Theme through the Installatron page and then reinstall the Theme? We’ve also installed the WordPress re-set plug in.
I downloaded the zip from the company where we bought the Theme and we’re ready to go. We’re not really confident using FTP and prefer to install the Theme via WordPress.
I apologise if you receive this Post twice. I think my partner had already asked via a different support page.
