I understand that the plugin did not cause the drop in score. However, the entire reason I sought out your plugin was because I needed to be able to embed the YouTube video without losing page speed. I am perfectly capable of embedding the code myself (which I had done before). I was hoping your plugin would enable the embedding of the YouTube video without loss of page speed. There are other options that allow the loading of just the YouTube thumbnail without loading the full video codecs and paths until it is clicked on, and that may be the way I need to go. No disrespect intended. I just want to be able to embed the video without loss of page speed. I will try your Pro version if I am unable to resolve the issue otherwise.
Thank you.

What? That’s the only comparison that does matter. I used the plugin to embed a YouTube video and it slowed down the page speed to like 71. I will remove my review since you’re correct that it did not utilize the paid Pro upgrade, but there should be some way to test the efficacy of the Pro upgrade before paying for it.
The page is set forth above and has not changed.
That lazy load feature seems to require a payment for the Pro upgrade. I’m happy to pay that if it works, but I’m not going to pay to find out if it does.
The website is https://www.bklaw.com/ and I took out the YouTube embed because it was slowing down the page.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Can't view "visual" mode in version 3.5OK, I seem to be able to activate the plugins. I am getting that error message, but the plugin DOES get activated. In any event, I still can’t view visual mode. You referred to a 2010 theme. Do you mean a 2010 version of WordPress? I am using a Genesis child theme, but it hasn’t changed at all.

In reply to: Can't view "visual" mode in version 3.5Thank you. All plugins are (for some reason) deactivated already. When I try to activate ANY of them, I get the following bizarre error message:
“You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘TYPE=MyISAM’ at line 9 on line: 1473”
I contact my web host to find out if they knew what to do about that, and they said it has to do with the specific plugin software. But ALL of them? They can’t all have the same manual.
This is a disaster. None of my plugins work now and I can’t type in WYSYWIG….
Any further guidance would be appreciated.
THanks,
Mark
