Hi Jeffery,
Thanks for the fast response! I did as you instructed, and your plugin is now working great!
Thanks again!
If you recently just updated the Display Widgets plugin, that may be the problem. Check out the forums for the Display Widgets plugin, there were some bug issues in last update… There has been a new update in the last hour that seems to fix those problems.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Website sporatically breaks with W3 enabledThis fix works. I had the same problem, however, I’m using php 5.6.29… So I don’t think it is just related to 5.3.x or lower.
Just found this on the SEO Data Transporter forum…
Neither SEO plugin needs to be active as long as the SEO meta data from the old plugin is still present in your database. If you already have an SEO plugin active, a typical workflow might look like this:
1. Take a full backup of your database.
2. Leave your old or new SEO plugin active.
3. Run SEO Data Transporter.
4. Deactivate the old SEO plugin and activate the new one if you have not done so already.
5. Review your posts and make sure your SEO data was copied over.
6. Deactivate SEO Data Transporter if you wish (it doesn’t need to remain active once the migration is complete). The SEO meta data from your original plugin is removed once it’s migrated, which is why it’s important to take the backup first just in case.
This looks like the steps and order to take for the transfer?
I have the exact same question.
I have been using Yoast SEO version 2.3.5 and have been very reluctant to update Yoast because of the many complaints and problems people have had since version 3.0 and up… It is time to change to another plugin, and SEO Frameworks has gotten great reviews.
I just want to make sure I do the correct steps in the correct order.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast SEO edit mediaIt won’t hurt to do it… But it is probably better to SEO your images before uploading.
Doing things like making sure the image file name is optimized for SEO -> image_34691.jpg(not good) -> dog-brown-labrador-pet.jpg(much better). Filling out alt tag, title, and description when uploaded to your WordPress media library will do basically the same thing as those settings in Yoast… Which may be better in the long run. If one day you stop using SEO by Yoast, what happens to all that meta created by Yoast??

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Sitemap 500 internal server errormcfester,
I was not surprised or expecting any premium support… I just thought there was a chance someone had a similar issue and potential fix.In the mean time, I just disabled the sitemap in the WordPress SEO plugin and started using Google XML Sitemaps plugin. This plugin seems to be working fine, even though I would rather have the sitemap function in Yoast’s plugin work properly… One less plugin.
Thanks for the reply.
I will look into it.Forum: Plugins

I sent you the info through your support form. Let me know if you got it… circumventing the donation request was a little tricky.
