alright, seems there is an incompatibility with headspace2 (https://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/headspace2/), since i deactivated that plugin the gallery appears again where it should be.

hmm, even setting all options to default did not have any effect. shortcode is still shown. still noone with an idea inside?

anyone else experiencing this?
