Yes, I deactivated all the plugins and cleared all cookies and temporary internet files. I’m using IE9 and I also tried it in firefox, same problem.

I also tried twenty-twelve. Same problem.

I also just realized that on the widget page, I am not able to drag and drop the widgets, and on the menu page (to create a custom menu) I am not able to drag and drop the menu items to move them around.

So, no toggling, no drag and drop feature and on the Theme Options page, a blank white cener screen.

I’ll mention again that when I did a separate wordpress install on a test site (same web hosting account) there was no problem.

I am having this same problem. I installed WordPress v3.5.1 and no matter which theme I select, the customize theme page (or theme options page) only shows the left column menu, but none of the menu choices will toggle to reveal the options; and there is nothing but blank white space in the middle of the screen.

Given that this is happening for ALL the themes, including twenty-twelve, it appears that the problem is not specific to a particular theme.

BTW, the actual theme I am trying to customize is Magazine Basic by c.bavota. The Theme Options (customize) page does not function properly as described above.

Anything you can share is appreciated.
