I’m still scratching my head on what the vulnerability is if it isn’t in the wpappninja plugin code. Could another plugin be hijacking our website for mobile users? So stressful.

Thank you all for the tips and plugins and examples. This will help many people troubleshoot and debug. In my case after ranting I took a break from it all. Took a deep breath and dug in to find the problems. It was a plugin related issue that was up to date with the prior latest version of wp but not WP5.0. The issue was specifically related to old pages that had a shortlink in them. They worked fine before but for whatever reason upon editing those pages Gutenberg did a self check and freaked out. Which freaked me out.

It should be a backwards compatible release but plugin makers had ample time to get their code ready I guess. Still aggrevating. Here was my solution which worked so far.

I copied the text to a note pad and saved as plain text and saved that with the title and original permalink and short code. I then deleted the page. Removed from trash. Then went and recreated the page and included the shortlink into the shortlink block. Made sure the title and permalink was the same for seo. So why didnt I remove the shortlink from the original page and add it to a shortlink box? I did just that but still was unable to save or publish. The recreated page published fine with no issues. There is definitely a conflict between gutenberg and editing existing pages that causes a complete lag and crash. It appears to me to have been an issue with gutenberg trying to switch between the old editor and the new block style. I Have noticed on some other pages and posts that some pages were auto loaded in the old editor when attempting to edit. But why after the freeze up and crash when I went to all pages and clicked edit was I taken to all posts? No idea on this one. Still trying to recreate this. As of now I am fine as long as I do not edit any old pages with short codes in them.

Thanks again I’m sure they will get things worked out in the next update. Just frustrating. We do allow user front end blog posts and so far they have had limited issues and mainly with images being cropped off.

We are having similar issues since the theme updates a few weeks back. This is what we are seeing. style=”background-image: url(“undefined”);”

Trying to find out why still. Just seen a new update and hope they have it fixed. The front page images on mobile are not displaying. For some reason it appears that the image link to the featured image is undefined but is defined in Desktop.

Issue was resolved after the last update thank you. After the update now I have an Issue with the posts feature images not showing up on the Front page. Anyone find a solution for this yet. This only happens on mobile devices and could be by design for fast page loads. If so we should probably remove the placeholders. If it isn’t by design is their a snippet of code missing that would cause these to not display? It appears that they are css hidden when mobile. hmmm

Just wondering how much we would need to raise to keep you working? I recently just noticed the announcement also and have been eagerly awaiting the next version you were working on. I was visiting the store to make sure I was going to have enough funds to buy several plugins for the new update. Very sad day for 10,000 Plus fans. I hate that you have not been able to monetize enough to stay at it.

I have a possible solution just not sure exactly how to do it. What if we appended the author name to posts?

I want to allow users to sign in with their steemit.com account. I’m setup with steemconnect2.0 and have my keys and tokens. Is there a way to integrate this into your plugin? How would I do this? Can I Pay You To Do This? Thanks

I Thought That Too At First. Then I Noticed Where You Add The Mobile Menu In Menus.
