I wish I there was some way to search for it. I would have though that “dynamic content” which I remember being in the description was going to bring it up but it doesn’t.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

well it is what I’m looking for but it is not what I am looking for. It is similar to the tool I used previously but IMO it is not as nice as that tool This one doesn’t really do anything for me that I can’t accomplish by leaving a google search open in a tab and just flipping back and forth between my post and Google.

The one I use previously offered pictured and data and analyzed what I was typing in the post and updated its offering dynamically. This one requires I type in a search and it works from that plus it is a pay service that only allows 4 free posts a month which will probably work but it is another strike.

US $19.95 per month for unlimited documents. On WordPress unlimited use is free with our promotional badge added to your posts or 19.95 per month for unlimited use without the badge.

Seriously? Perhaps they are simple explaining it wrong as I found numerous contradictory statements from this company. For example one page says you can use it free 4 times a month, another says 8 times. Regardless I’d never use any plugin that forces a badge or credit on me as it simply makes websites look unprofessional and $20 a month to get rid of it? Ahhhhh…. no.

I’m not paying a monthly subscription for something like this. Its search algorithm is undoubtedly good but it is not better than google and their system requires I leave the post edit page in order to go to their suggested content which will load in a separate tab. How is that better than google? Google is free.

I’m sure there are people that will like it and use it but I will continue searching for the tool I used previously.

That is indeed the type of thing I’m looking for although that is not the one. I will play with it but if anyone knows of any others please let me know as the one I dloaded previously was an excellent plugin.

Shame there seems to be no way to search for this category of plugins. If you operate a content driven site these are truly amazing plugins … well I have not tried this one yet but I’m sure it is at the very least, far better than not having any plugin of this type.

I’ll let you know what I think.

    Thanks

Thanks but Live search search is not what I’m looking for. I’m not looking for something that makes suggestions when I do a search.

I am looking for a plugin that suggests content as I type out a post. There have been a couple of them over the years. What they do is create a panel or series of panels to the right of the post input box and as you create a post it analyzes what your typing and makes suggestions for content and pictures in the panels.

never mind. Although it does work that way I just realized that I can make use of it as it is.

I’d still like clarification if that is the way it is supposed to work as the doc’s seem to imply otherwise.

So have you invented the wheel that will allow a menu to be used on multiple sites yet? I could sure use such a feature and I had an other WPMU developer sitting across the table over lunch today that could use it as well. We both agreed we could likely use it for future projects as well.

Hard coding it into the template is a method of doing it but it is a bad method IMO. Might be fine or some one running one or two sites but it is enough work doing tweaks on a portfolio of sites as it is without more hard coding.

As a work around I am going to attempt to build one finished blog layout and clone it for each new MU blog.
