Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Uploading a Locally Hosted Xampp site to hosting serviceService does have WordPress install capabilities. I think the tech I was talking with wasn’t particularly knowledgable. Am planning on making another call for clarification, but just seeking guidance from the forum before I do. As I said it doesn’t make sense to me. Just wondering if anyone had run across the same thing?? Seem to me I just overwrite existing installed wordpress directory with my local host site per the topic, but not sure.

In reply to: No GoThat worked. Unfortunatley I think the problem is I ignored the unique password for this blog thinking my account password was what I needed.
Can’t get this password due to email issues with local host database.
Am willing to chalk it up to experience and start a NEW, DIFFERENT
blog to practice on. Unfrotunatley don’t know how to do that.Sorry to be so challenged. Still need help

Sounds similar to my problem. Self hosted. Lost my password to my blog. Willing to chalk that up to experience and start a new blog, save the password for that and use it as a learning site.
Problem is, how do I start a new blog. Not kidding. No clue.
Thanks in advance.
