In reply to: [WP Crowdfunding] Layout overlapping with Divi top menuThank you, that moves the form below the header but the page title is still showing below the form and should be above it. Basically it’s ignoring the Divi layout.

I appreciate your help.

In reply to: [WP Crowdfunding] Layout overlapping with Divi top menuHello,
Thank you for your help.
Replacing CSS in your crowdfunding-front.css file will be lost when the plugin updates won’t it? Instead, I put your provided CSS in the Style box on your settings page and it works fine there for the individual crowdfunding listing/product.
The new/added CSS has no effect on a registraion page if I use the Divi page builder. (It’s similar to Beaver Builder.)

Any thoughts on overriding CSS for this one? The red background block is supposed to be above the form and the form is still underneath the top menu.
But if I put the registration form on a page without using the Divi page builder, it works okay.

So there are conflicts with the page builder. Divi is one of the most popular themes and builders so you may wish to consider either making the plugin compatible. Or if not, adding it to your list of themes and plugins your plugin is not compatible with. Divi also provides its builder as a standalone plugin for other themes.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [WP Crowdfunding] Layout overlapping with Divi top menuHello again,
I’m back with the link to a page with a registration form:
Also please note the page title, with the red background is showing up below the registration form. And as I mentioned already, the registration form is under the menu, instead of below it.
If we can get these issues sorted out, then we can get the pro version of the plugin with Stripe Connect.
Thank you for your assistance.

In reply to: [WP Crowdfunding] Layout overlapping with Divi top menuHello,
Thank you for replying.
Yes, I know we need the pro version for Stripe Connect but I always test a free/basic version of a plugin as a way to determine whether is right for a client.
The issue is with the Divi theme. Did you take a look at the page link I provided? Here it is again and it illustrates the issue with the navigation. Link
I don’t have the registration form on a page but will put one up again and get the link for here. The problem was twofold. First it placed the form above any other content I put on the page. Second, it exhibited the same issue as the listing, showing underneath the top navigation instead of below it.
Thank you,
BillI’ll let you know here when I’m sure things are working smoothly Kate.
Regards,
BJThanks for posting this Kate.
We were using Really Simple SSL on the site in question and an update to that today resolved some of the problems people are having with downloads too (if they are using that plugin).
Switching sites over to SSL has been a real nightmare of little gotcha’s for our commerce set-ups and membership sites.
Happy Trails,
BJWould please include how you resolved this for the benefit of people who have this problem and find your post here?
Thank you,

In reply to: [Tailor Page Builder] Drag and Drop not working with Jet PackHello Andrew,
Sorry I didn’t respond to your reply. I am signed up for notifications but did not receive one when you replied.
However, I did get your notification this evening of closing the thread.
FYI…Dragging templates onto a page was not working. It’s been so long now I can’t recall which version of Jet Pack but it would have been the current version at the time of the post because I keep them up-to-date always.
I am using Firefox 46.0.1 on Windows 10 Home version but suspect I may have been on the previous version of Firefox at the time. I think I tried using Chrome too.
At any rate, I’ll try Tailor out again if I still have problems return and start a fresh thread.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Arconix FAQ] Conflict with Supsystic Tables pluginHi John,
Hmmm…That sounds right and what I was doing.
With Acronix active if I click on the insert image icon in the toolbar of a Supsystic table, I get a standard WP select media dialog window. When I select the image, a check mark appears beside it and the properties appear in the right column as per usual. But…There is a message in the top right column above the properties that says ‘UPLOADING’ and clicking on the ‘Choose images’ button (to insert image) does nothing.
If I deactivate Acronix, I can insert an image.
WordPress version is 4.4.1–en_CA (Canada)
Theme is Cobalt Apps Dynamic 1.9.4 which is Genesis (from Studiopress) child theme builder.Thank you for your help.

Go the the Plugin editor. Select Candy Social Widget from the drop down to choose the correct plugin to edit.
Look for the file named:
candy-social-widget/includes/widget-functions.php
Look for the comment // display the widget in the theme
My code looks identical except for the addition add “target=”_blank”
Mostly I feel AJ should update the plugin. My comment that it would only take 30 seconds was addressed to him.
Regards,
BillHi AJ…
How long would that take you? 30 seconds?
foreach( $links as $s=>$link ) { printf( $this->before_item, esc_attr( $s ) ); echo '<a href="' . $link . '" target="_blank" . title="' . $this- >services[$s] . '"><img src="'. plugins_url( '/images/'. strtolower ($this->services[$s]) .'.png', __FILE__ ) .'" alt="' . $this->services[$s] . '" /></a>';

In reply to: Unable to create directory when uploading mediaI am having the same problems with Enom…Even using their application installer, their configuration won’t let me upload themes, install plugins etc. Phoned their tech support and their response was ‘our service is configured properly’ I told them it isn’t. They said ‘it’s a WordPress so you will have to go WP.org, find out the configuration settings they need to change and contact them again’…No help whatsoever.
I have run into this at many other hosting companies but have always been able to get it sorted out quickly using chat or a call…Not so with Enom
I am getting my client out of there…

In reply to: is this some new spam attack? To the mod… Please do not delete the thread, but pruning the non technical posts would be helpful for those of us who are trying to remedy this attack.
I am trying some other things and will post any findings.
