Resolved? Not a bit of it.
I have just not proceeded further because nothing in this interaction has left me feeling confident that I’ll get a resolution…
At least my implementation of this plugin has, so far, remained stable since ‘the event…’
Jarryd, So I assume you saw nothing amiss with the logs?
- I don’t see what you’re getting at with expiration dates – all had different expiration dates but something/an event cancelled the subscription of 90 users in a 3 minute period.
- How would I know? But I assume that this is not the case because it is the standard subscribers that were cancelled, not the different category that was set up with paid development.
Bestest…

Hy Jarryd
I must admit that my site doesn’t use the block editor and so I don’t see how to attach a file here – but I can upload the site info to my site and here’s the link. Hopefully that works…
As an example of user that was was one of the 90 in 3 minutes that were cancelled:
mark@- – – .com first subscribed 13-Mar-2014 with further subscriptions on:
7-mar-2015, 14-mar-17, 12-mar-18, 6-mar-19, 5-mar-20, 5-mar-21, 5-mar-22, 5-mar-23
cancelled – 29-Aug-23 (in the bulk cancellation)
Restored by me 30-Aug-23
All of the cancellations were of the subscription type “id”: “1” none of the the others were involved.
Thanks…
PS Let me know when you’ve got the file and I’ll delete it from my server…

Hi Jarryd,
Are you sure that’s okay – its 121 kb in a text file, so it will be a very long post. It also contains many client names that I’d have to obscure. No problem if that’s the only way.
My best, Bill
Paint me stupid Jarryd – I don’t see the site health widget (on the right) to paste the info into…
Dear Jarryd
Many thanks for replying. Basic infos – PMPro running on the site almost 10 years. It was Kim who installed it and Jason made an additional plugin for me for extra functionality – both paid for. Other than a new theme 5-6 years ago and keeping up with the PMPro updates, nothing else has been done/changed.
- The site membership has grown organically – there have been no imports. Though it’s worth mentioning that the ‘subscriber’ membership was spammed about 1 year ago – over 1,000 ghost accounts of the format ‘[email protected]’ ie a mix of numbers and letters, always gmail.com – which helped for deleting them all. Looking at Stripe they tried to run thousands of credit-card numbers – 100% rejected – but nearly $500,000 worth was attempted before I deleted all (hopefully all) the accounts – that was time-consuming too! Your guess is as good as mine how they became ‘subscribers’ without paying or me adding them – though they looked like ‘lapsed’ subscribers as they had no access to the paywall pages!
- 99% of all the site’s accounts have expiry dates – people pay a 12 month subscription – 100% of the deleted accounts had an expiry date.
- Yes, all had the same ‘subscriber‘ level. All with the same tariff and all had different expiry dates but 99% of those were subscribers that had paid this year. Some were ‘cancelled’ only a week or two after they had paid. I do have some other levels – using Jason’s plugin – they have never been cancelled – maybe 5% of the membership.
The site has experienced cancellations for a number of years but 10-20 per year – also not done by me or the subscriber – but more like one every couple of weeks that I have become attentive to. This was, of course, something else… So far the site is stable.
Any insight, ideas fully appreciated. Feel free to email me if you don’t want to broadcast every thing. ??
Bill

In reply to: [Breadcrumb NavXT] custom breadcrumb trail – how to…Appreciated – Thanks John
Thanks Rene
And do you have a recommendation for the time (I assume in seconds) – or just trial and error(?)
Yes the site’s been running under WP since version 1.4, so it’s quite large ??
And having just checked, unsuccessfully, you might have to point me in the direction of where to find php.ini …I will leave it switched on for 24hrs so you can see (same URL – but it happens all-over…), but you will note the image is now resized to 620px from the 685px original:
<img src="https://i2.wp.com/www.burgundy-report.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/nuits01.jpg?resize=620%2C348" alt="" title="Turn of the (20th) Century Nuits St.Georges" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-28616" />
I don’t have a content width defined in my functions.php…
BestWell, of-course it’s switched off now, but the ‘header’ image on this page is already sized to 685px width (basically max for the page) but with photon enabled changes to 620px – I have many similar with photon enabled.
Good luck!!!https://www.burgundy-report.com/summer-2012/nuits-saint-georges-village-profile/
I also have an issue here – my full size images have a 685px width. When served by photon they are all resized to 620px – I haven’t rummaged around the whole site, but I haven’t noticed it on smaller images.
I switched off Photon and they were all 685 again…(?) Think I’ll stay switched off until we have something a bit more consistent.

In reply to: wordpress generated styling and caption cssDear Otto42 – that’s kind, but absolutely meaningless to me in terms of next steps :0)
I do understand though what you mean about the div not necessarily being what you see, as I have found that I can make Firefox work fine (HOORAY!!!) by hiding the following in the css:
/*.alignleft {
float: left
}
img.alignleft, div.alignleft
{float:left; margin:0 0.5em 0.5em 0;
}*/and changing my .wp-caption to give a 17px bottom padding:
.wp-caption {
border: 1px solid #ddd;
text-align: left;
background-color: #f3f3f3;
padding-top: 0px;
padding-bottom: 17px;
margin: 0px;
border-radius: 0px;
}Trouble is (needless to say) these things made zero difference to MSIE7…
