In reply to: [Membership 2] Buggy, upgrade membership on expiration doesn’t wokYes, I’m familiar with that settings and that’s exactly what I did and it just doesn’t work in version 4.1.3 of the plugin.
I’ve tried 4.1.2 and – voila! – it works there.
Not sure if I want to use a plugin that doesn’t use regression testing when they release new versions.

In reply to: [WP Review Slider] Excellent plugin, would like to see moreFantastic, thank you so much!
Yeah, I’ve actually solved #3 by defining two different templates: one for web, one for mobile and using my wordpress visual editor I’ve defined one as invisible on mobile and the other – as invisible on web.Cmon, Ultimate Member Support, you could have done better than that!
Apparently I didn’t notice there’s a field type “shortcode” that already exists in the list of the different fields that can be added to a form.
Adding that field lets me insert any shortcode in a form.
UM plugin – fantastic!
Support staff – needs some more training. Or vacation. ??Which one?
I’m looking for a plugin that offers the following features:
1. Tabs can be configured as vertical.
2. Responsive – turn into accordion at some breakpoint.
3. Convenient GUI to create the tabs
4. Easy shortcodes
5. Looks nice out of the box (without fiddling too much with him custom CSS)Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [amCharts: Charts and Maps] How to use user meta data as data for the chartsThanks for such a quick reply!
I think the second solution is pretty close to what I need.
Is it possible to query user meta data via JS from within the chart JS code? Also, is there a way to let users fill-in the data in some kind of a form on a front-end and then visualize it?
Thank you again!
Hey Alec, any luck with getting your question answered?
Changing the css of um-field-label from
block
toinline-flex
seems to do the trick:.um-field-label?{ display:?inline-flex; margin:?0 0 8px; }
Consider the following use-case:
- I run a website of personal IT advice. I have a form on a user’s page that the user can’t edit (only admin can). That form simply contains a basic, generic advice (e.g.
Try reseting your computer
) – as a Default Text that the user sees when he logs in to his account (I’m using the TextArea field for that, settingDoes this textarea accept HTML
toyes
). - Next, as an admin, I open that user’s account and edit his form to contain a more personalized advice (e.g.
Hey Jim, try resetting your HP machine
). - My goal is for the initial, generic advice to already be as personalized as possible, so for example, ideally I would like to be able to put the following as the Default Text in the textarea field:
Hey [user_name], ...
(I’m using the “User shortcodes plus” plugin for the different shortcodes)
Other use-cases might be around say launching an iframe in a lightbox with more detailed walk-through with pictures (there’s a bunch of plugins that provide the lightbox functionality based on shortcodes) – again, as the Default Text.
I’ve found that it’s even better to use
.um-header { display: none; }
– then it doesn’t leave a huge vertical space at the top of the form.Hey guys, anybody there?
How do I get rid of this bots honeypot?
I only have defined three fields – first name, email and password. But this “Only fill in if you are not human” field keeps showing up! I believe it’s supposed to be hidden (and only used by bots), but I can see it and it drives me crazy.I have this issue too! My registration form contains only first name, email and password. However, when I look at the actual website, there’s another field that shows up – “Only fill in if you are not human”, which I’d like to get rid of.
Setting Enable Time Check Security to “off” doesn’t help.- This reply was modified 7 years, 4 months ago by billmondei.

In reply to: [amr users] can’t configure html (“simple”) viewThank you for a quick response!
Could you please send me the CSS you used to produce this view?
https://ps.w.org/amr-users/assets/screenshot-2.png?rev=1009494I’d rather use it as the starting point to make sure I’m not reinventing the wheel.
Thank you so much again- love your plugin!
