In reply to: [View Admin As] New User Types aren’t searchable for Shop ManagersHi Jory – where are you placing that remove_filter because it’s not working for me. I’ve gone so far as to give Shop Managers 100% of the capabilities of Administrators using User Role Editor, and still my Shop Managers cannot search and find Summer or Lifetime users. And I apologize, you’re right that Woo was still running, since the next thing I need to test involved the Woo checkout with Shop Manager’s acting as Summer or LIfetime user role types. Literally everything else is shut down, but I can also see that your plugin works fine for Shop Managers viewing these custom user roles until WooCommerce is re-activated.
I’ve tried adding your snippet directly in functions.php and even tried deploying a plugin, in case the timing of our remove_filter wasn’t happening late enough in the process. Still no dice.

In reply to: [View Admin As] New User Types aren’t searchable for Shop ManagersWell it’s more that it works perfectly for Administrator – I search “scanlon” and it pulls right up. But using View As, as a Shop Manager this same address search does not return the user with user role “Summer”. Are you still thinking that could be a plugin conflict? Works great for one user role and not another?
OK so I just disabled everything including the theme. I’ve confirmed that Shop Manager has both View As capabilities as part of their profile. And Shop Manager just still cannot view/search for my two custom user roles. Those roles, again, have Read Posts capabilities and that’s it. Is there something I need to do within View As settings to enable these user role types to be viewable or “controllable” for Shop Managers?
I recognize this is a free plugin, but it’s incredibly useful. Would you be willing to charge a bit of money to help me untangle the issue?

In reply to: [View Admin As] New User Types aren’t searchable for Shop ManagersHi Jory,
Thanks for the reply. Yes I have a Shop Manager who cannot view my newly created Summer and Lifetime user roles. Shop Manager has edit_user capabilities and all other Shop Manager defaults too. But when I log in as a Shop Manager (not view as – full login) and try to search for a Summer user role user or Lifetime user role user, I get no results found. Please see screen shot:
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
Because I don’t have time to rehash all of this with one of your support techs. However responding here, at least makes this poor experience part of the record.
Anyone looking for server to server migration needs to have all the room for a local backup available, even when using the Dropbox extension, and I wasted a week determining this myself since no one replied. Your own email prompts a conversation after the purchase, and then you never reply.
Ok I’m out.
No thank you. I confirmed on my own that I cannot use your plugin and I’m eating the cost.
You’ve already failed to respond for a week, and failed to respond to my reply to YOUR email to me at the time of purchase.
I’ve confirmed that this plugin still creates a local backup, even when using Dropbox, so it’s of no value to me.
Thanks – we just went from a C to an A by making that change.
Hi Denis,
Yes this helps, but isn’t this the heart of your service?
You can pretend this is resolved, but it’s not. The server response delay is true across my approximately 25 sites running CleanTalk. I take a full letter-grade hit, despite Katereji’s recommendations and despite Alexander’s insistence that it’s not your plugin. Disable your plugin, my grade goes way up.
I’ve moved one of my sites to Cloudflare, which has much faster server load times, and claims to offer similar protection. I’ll be moving the rest when I can.
Thanks anyway.
Hi – no this seems to have pushed the failure down the chain to the time of content load. I have Cleantalk turned off at the moment, to let my webhost prove they can deliver an A grade on server performance without it running. But I was at a C with Cleantalk running and now at a B without it, even after the changes you recommended above.
Thanks
Bill
That pixel option is currently set to Off. OK the plugin is re-enabled.
So that brings it from a 98% to 63% with an 800ms server response time. So even worse this morning.

In reply to: [SIP Reviews Shortcode for WooCommerce] Stars on form are invisibleHello – yes I will share Flatsome theme with you, but FYI, your CSS above stopped working at some point in the last few weeks. It’s broken again, just showing ‘f006’ instead of the stars.
I’m having this exact same problem. Core WordPress Paypal payments work perfectly, but this plugin causes the payment window to pop-up for a second, then it closes with no way to pay via PayPal.

In reply to: [SIP Reviews Shortcode for WooCommerce] Stars on form are invisibleNow the stars are there. Thank you. So just to be clear, even if I click 3 stars, nothing is supposed to change? It shows 5 full stars even if you click 2 or 3 stars. Is that how it is designed? That is not intuitive and will make people think “hey, I can only have a 5 star review. That’s cheating!”
