In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Problems with event pagesHi @savvasha thanks for your reply. If possible could I provide my site login details to you to apply the patch to my site. I’m not the best with the code so in case I make a mess of it. When I try to update the Sportspress pro plugin I get the error Update failed: Download failed. cURL error 18: transfer closed with 486642 bytes remaining to read. I’m a bit overwhelmed with how to get things sorted and to explain what I’m seeing on my end so maybe if you were logged in you could see how things are error wise and if it’s just something I’ve messed up. I’ve noticed some small issues that may or may not be relevant but the add new player button reads add new “post!, the add new team button reads add new “page,, the add new event button reads add new “post” . It may be clearer to you what the issues are if I provide login details.
This is word for word exactly the same issues I’ve been having and I too had to get the Sportspress Update done by WordPress/Automaatic to get the plugin updated as it was erroring out. I’ve tried on rookie theme in troubleshooting mode with every other plugin deactivated and I’m still getting the same issues with events details not appearing on the frontend with a refresh required to get the data to show and the same issues where player lists stats order is changing all by itself across all lists and if you update it then it changes back to how it should be and has always been. To echo what you say Sportspress is fundamental to my site and the guys have always been excellent and I too don’t want to come across like I’m being abrupt when I write these here and on my tickets but there’s a common issue being seen by so many now that something seems to have gone a bit wrong. I’m running latest versions of WordPress too and with every plugin bar Sportspress active and on various themes, the problems continue, and admittedly I’m no expert in any of this but on what I see in front of me I have to assume it strongly points to there being some issue with the Sportspress plugin that’s common to us all. I’m hoping someone that has posted with the same issues has found a fix and can post here as I’m dead in the water too.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Problems with event pagesCleared the cache and still the same issue. When you open an event there’s no data but when you refresh the page the data then appears.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Problems with event pagesI am using 6.4.1 too. There seems to be a common issue if three of us are experiencing the same issue. I haven’t raised a ticket as yet and have found the help to have been excellent in the past so would expect it to be sorted swiftly so fingers crossed.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Problems with event pagesI have just started to experience the exact same issue with my site recently. I deactivated all plugins, used troubleshoot mode and isolated a separate issue with a plugin that caused a critical error which has been resolved but for the event issue, with all plugins deactivated the issue remained but I discovered that when the event is opened first time, the data such as players, scores, statistics etc are not displayed but if the event page is refreshed then the stats etc appear. Obviously that’s not a solution as anybody visiting the site would not likely refresh the page and would assume no data exists. I’m no expert in any of this but this seems to be a relatively recent issue and common to my site as well so maybe there is a slight issue. The plugin is fantastic and central to my site so having it back to full working order would be a big deal. I’m also experienced an issue when trying to update Sportspress pro to version 2.7.16 as I get this error: Update failed: Download failed. cURL error 18: transfer closed with 9797153 bytes remaining to read. I updated other plugins and experienced no issue but I can’t get SportsPress pro to update. Any help would be much appreciated and keep up the great work with a fantastic plugin that has given no issues before this slight one.
