So you want has text on your site, change the background, header image, change the buttons, a music player and some links?

All those thing are included in WP by default, read the docs if you don’t know how to do it.

You’ll want to add this to the table css:

background-color:#whatevercoloryourbgusesoryouwant;
color:#whatevershadeofgraytheothertexthas;

But if you’re not sure where exactly or something, post the css file here (you can find it in your theme’s folder, usually called style.css).

The site looks good. I’m not sure about the background.

In Firefox, there is a big blank space (background shows) between the bottom of the content and the footer.

With all the mobile devices and tablets, it might be a good idea to drop the flash stuff.

The mullet site is brilliant :p

I’m having the same issues with one.com and my wordpress install.

They keep feeding me the “we’re having techn. issues, our technicians are looking into it”.

They’ve been feeding that to me since I got the hosting (few weeks ago). I’m having the same issues, their servers are just slow as hell to respond. Can take over 60 seconds the first time, the other time 2 seconds. Then 2 minutes later I’m getting blank pages.

I’m the only visitor on the site, so maybe 100 pageviews a day.

Avoid that host.

1 and 2) In your header.php file (located in /wp-content/nameofyourtheme/) look for <?php bloginfo(‘name’); >? and replace it with <img src=”https://linktoyourimg.jpg&#8221; title=”description”>.

Or post your header.php content here and someone will tell you what exactly to change.

The site looks good.

I’m not a fan of black backgrounds and white text, that’s my only gripe.

Horrible webdesign.

– music starts playing when you visit site
– my mousepointer is some dudes face
– righ-clicking disabled
– links aren’t highlighted whne mouseover
– the header image is out of proportion
– the menu links are to small
– almost no content (all big images and youtube vids)
– to much animated gifs
– distracting background
– …

You get my point.

In the image folder from the skin, open the images where you want the black background and make them black, save and reupload the skin (make sure to not turn this transparent parts black if you want rounded corners).

You can use MS Paint, Gimp, Photoshop, … to do it. Should only take a minute or so to do.

You could always use the sidebar to display the logo (using the text widget and basic html) and remove the header part from a theme that you like.

Could use some colour.

I don’t like the background. To flashy.

Looks good, but I would change the logo.
