XAMPP Version: 5.6.23
What I want to do is keep both WordPress and PHP up to date in line with what’s on the live server. I am no expert so maybe I am misunderstanding something but from my online research it appears that I have to reinstall everything, after backing up WordPress sites, with every update. is this what most people do? Is it not possible to automatically update WordPress and PHP on a Windows localhost?
