In reply to: Replace Blog Home Template’s Content Block with Excerpt BlockThank you for the responses. I did get the desired effect by removing the content block from the Home Blog template and leaving only the Query Loop and its elements. I just thought it was odd that the Home Blog template would, by default, contain the content block when typically the purpose of the Home Blog page is to only display a brief synopsis of all of your posts, and then the visitor can click through on any one of them to obtain the full contents of a particular post if they want to. I found that the Single Posts template is where the content block is needed because this is where the visitor clicks through to to see the entire contents of the post.

In reply to: “Next Page” Block Scrolls to Top of Page after Clicking itThanks for the response. I saw other posts that were several years old from those experiencing the same problem, so I thought there may have been a resolve by now. You saved me a lot of time from searching. Thanks again.

In reply to: “Next Page” Block Scrolls to Top of Page after Clicking itHere is a link to the page that has a query loop block towards the bottom prior to the footer. The older posts load properly when you select the next page, but as you’ll see you will be brought to the top of the page after clicking and then have to scroll back down to the blog articles to see the reloaded older articles: https://staging.laketahoeweddings.net/

In reply to: Unwanted Margin Space in Template or FooterThank you for the code. I’ll try it. So would you say this issue is a bug in the 2025 theme?

In reply to: Unwanted Margin Space in Template or FooterThank you for the advice. When checking the global settings in the Layout section, I found the block spacing default setting was 1.2 rem, and setting it to “0” closed the approximate 20 pixel margin space between the footer and template content area. However, all elements in the footer and content area tightened up as well and changed the page design. So it looks like I might be stuck with the gap, unless I use the -20 pixel method…or if you possibly have some other alternative you can think of.
Thanks again for the advice.

In reply to: Button in Row won’t Center on Mobile ViewI believe you’re correct that certain blocks are preventing the centering. It looks like setting some padding is the easiest fix. Thank you for the advice.

In reply to: Button in Row won’t Center on Mobile ViewThank you for the suggestion. Would adding code be the only solution? I thought maybe there were some simple row or group block justification settings I was overlooking.

In reply to: 2025 Theme’s “Page No Title” Template and SEO AffectsThanks for the info James. It looks like I can use the No Title template without worrying about SEO ranking.

In reply to: 2025 Theme’s “Page No Title” Template and SEO AffectsTo be sure I understand, are you saying that even if I do use 2025 theme’s “Page No Title” template, which means the page title won’t be seen in the front end, as long as I have a page heading wrapped in an H1 tag, that would be equivalent to the page title in regard to positive SEO?
Thank you for the advice.

In reply to: Post Modified Date Block “Change Date” Option is MissingThank you for pointing that out. I see that when I toggle the “Display Last Modified Date” option off, the “Change Date” edit icon does appear. However, by turning the switch off, the “Modified Date” block converts to a “Date” block, and while it then allows me to change the date, it actually is changing the original publish date of the post, which I don’t want to do. I want to change the date to when the content was actually modified. Therefore, I don’t think this block helps me as it either shows nothing or the current date.
Basically, I have many posts published prior to 2019, and while some have been updated in the past few years, none have been recently. I’m staging a new site and transferring them there. While I can easily implement the original publish date of each article, I wanted to avoid a large amount of articles all displaying as updated with today’s date when they haven’t been updated in years, which is what the “Modified Date” block displays. I can leave the option off, but the articles that have been updated will not reflect that. Therefore, from what I can see, the change date edit icon seems pointless, and the “Modified Date” block is not useful for my situation.
I guess I’ll have to resort to a plugin of some sort. Thanks for your input, though.

In reply to: Modified Date Block Shows Updated Date OnlyDo you know if the “Change Date” edit option for the Modified Date block that the WP documentation references was in error, or has something changed since August 2023?

In reply to: Modified Date Block Shows Updated Date OnlyThank you for the quick response. I read the WP documentation on the block, however, and it says there are 5 options on the toolbar, one of them being a “Change Date” option. However, it is not there. The documentation on this is recent, too…August 2023.

In reply to: Modified Date Block Shows Updated Date OnlyOne other question I had regarding the Modified Date block is that can the block’s updated date be changed? I wrote an article a while back that ranks high in Google. Recently, from the dashboard, I clicked on the post to review it, and the post’s date updated without me making any changes. I read that this could affect SEO by simply updating the date but not actually making significant edits. In other words, Google may view this unfavorably.
Thank you for any advice.
