The post is the same. The side bar does come in but at the bottom of the page on the RHS. I am missing something. Any ideas, or just give?

Sorry, I have just resolved this problem myself after many hours.

There was a prevoius policy, it was deleted but it was held in the trash.

Once I permanently removed it from the trash, the other plugins were easily installed.

I was not an obvious solution to me, but it is now.

Thanks, but I had read and reread this section and cannot find a solution.

However I typed in %postname% has I had done a 100 times before and it worked?

Now I had reinstalled the previous wordpress blog, could it not have been reinstalled properly in the SQL database. A purge 24 hours later in the server reset it. I do not know it suddenly started working again. Does this correct?

Any ideas? Thanks again Gordon.
