My apologies. It seems it’s a conflict with a custom theme. I did a test run with Gamma and it worked just fine. I’ll take a look on my theme and see why it’s acting this way.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. They did get back to me, but they said the problem wasn’t on their end so there was nothing they could do to fix it.

And to be honest, I don’t even know how I’d go about installing it on a local server. =~

While you’re here, can I ask about the language file? I looked into the Portuguese file in /lang, cause there’s a mistake in it (“no” instead of “Ano” – “Year”), but I didn’t find the right instance to fix it…

Yes, I always update to the latest version of the plugin whenever one is available – and since upgrading to v 2.4.0, this message is showing up not just once on every page, whenever I load a new one, but TWICE. This is beyond annoying. Please, either get rid of it, or add a “dismiss message” on the admin panel.

But then again, I have another WP install in the same domain (the one with the error is under myurl.com/site, and this other one is myurl.com/teste). Both have the same theme and mostly the same plugins installed – and emojis work just fine on “teste”. Would there still be any difference in the databases, if they’re both on the same server?

I deactivated every single plugin and activated Twenty Forteen. The problem still persisted. So I really don’t think it’s theme/plugin related…

Is it possible to just change permissions via ftp, or only with a help from my host?
