I have managed to do this so far with .mov : You put this code in the box and change the file inside to where your file is. Maybe it′s the same for .flv Search google for a code

You can′t upload your WP-files to one directory and then delete them, for so upload them to a new directory. Then wp will send youre files to the first directory you used…
