    Hello,

Apologies for not replying in German – please forgive us.

We are sorry to hear that your expectations of our service did not match. We take accusations of fraud very seriously, so would like to iterate why our product operates as it does and the conduct of transparency within which we operate.

A registered password-protected account is necessary to securely communicate with our related posts engine. This engine indexes all of your posts, connects them together with complex relationships and continuously recalculates them. This very heavy process is handled on our servers, not on-the-fly on your website. So your posts must be connected to this, be it for testing or on your live site.

The plugin is completely free for websites handling up to 25,000 post views every month that contains our module. Beyond that we have tiered paid plans that are competitively priced for AI-powered professional publishing technologies. Publishers are reporting a minimum 5x return on investment from using Bibblio, so the plugin is making them significantly more money than it costs them.

All of this is explicitly described in the plugin store, within the plugin installation process itself, throughout our website and in our Help Center. There is no deception and there are no tricks to charge you improperly or covertly.

We appreciate this model might not appeal to every user and when it is compared to free related posts plugins, people do question why they should pay. To this we highlight that this is a professional, secure, robust plugin, relied upon by blog creators all the way up to multi-national publishing networks, who need an enterprise-scaled service with zero downtime and ultra-fast performance. So it is hard to compare the keyword-matching free variants out there to our AI utility.

We would love to assist you further and demonstrate how our plugin can increase engagement, audience development and revenue. Drop us a message and we’d be excited to have a chat. If you’d prefer to revisit it directly, check out our WordPress Support for everything you need to know: https://www.bibblio.org/support/wordpress

We hope that clears things up.

    Hi Kathrin,

Are you still having issues getting Bibblio to display on your site?

    Hi Kathrin,

    Thank you for reaching out.

If during the installation, you selected the option to automatically feature Bibblio at the end of your posts, the module should appear automatically without you needing to add any code.

You can also add it as a widget by going to your wp admin>Widgets.

I can’t seem to find our js and css files on the site that you shared. Can I confirm with you that you have downloaded the plugin, activated it and followed the installation wizard?

    Kind regards,

    Lea

    Hi there,

Unfortunately Bibblio is built to work only with languages using a Latin-based alphabet. If your posts include some words in one of these languages, we may still be able to process them and generate recommendations, but cannot guarantee the same quality of recommendations.

Glad to know it’s working now ??

We’ll consider making the wording clearer for our next changes to the set-up wizard.

    Have a great week,

    Hi there,

Thank for flagging this. This is odd, and we should certainly try to figure out how it may have happened.

It doesn’t seem like this article was imported to Bibblio. When you click on this post in your WP admin, do you see whether the “Import to Bibblio” option is ticked, and whether the post has a content item id? If so, could you share that id on this thread?

Some other info that could be useful:

-How you choose to display our module (shortcode, widget, automatically at the end of the post)
-Whether this article is a custom post
-If you use a page builder to create some of your posts.

    Thanks,

    Bibblio

    Hi there,

We’re sorry Bibblio didn’t work for you.

Our product is currently designed for languages using the Latin alphabet. Whilst some other WordPress users are successfully running Bibblio on sites with non Latin-based content, we cannot guarantee our indexer can always process texts in Farsi. We are however working on a way to improve this in the future, so watch this space!

That’s good to hear, thanks for letting us know!

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved now, but don’t hesitate to reach out to us on bibblio.org if anything else comes up.

If you are using our WordPress plugin, you can find the recency slider by going to your WP admin > Bibblio > Settings.

    Next to the following instructions:

Prioritize recency. Posts published before the time period you select are less likely to appear as recommendations

You will find a slider that can be set to OFF, if that’s not already the case.

Otherwise, login to your Bibblio account on bibblio.org and you will find the slider under Content.

Let us know if you can’t find it.

    Thanks!

    Hi Birbo,

Our recent update included setting your recency filter on 30 days by default. Perhaps this may have had something to do with the changes in your recommendations? If so, you only need to change the setting to “OFF” and wait for 24h for the changes to be fully applied across your whole library.

Let us know if that works for you.

    Kind regards,

    Bibblio

    Hi Jenny,

Our plugin only works on posts, not pages. This is because we need text in order to generate relevant recommendations, and pages (especially 404 error pages) will not include the kind of content that you’d want to recommend to your readers.

To verify that that’s the issue, try adding the plugin on your posts instead. If you’ve imported more than 5 posts you should see the recommendations appear.

We hope this helps answer your question. If you still require any additional support, do reach out on our support address with the same title as this thread so we know it’s you.

    Hi Jenny,

Thank you very much for reaching out.

Could you share a link on your site where you inserted the shortcode? It’ll help us see what’s causing the issue.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Thank you very much for reaching out.

We recommend creating a fresh account for your live environment to avoid recommendations linking to the wrong url.

However, if you’d prefer to keep the same account, you can get in touch with us so we can clear your library and you’ll be able to start over.

    Hi Itamar,

Happy to know you’re considering us to power recommendations on your website!

We do not have a template file you can edit, but you can override our CSS if you want to make it feel more at home on your site.

Otherwise, why not access our API directly? Once you’ve imported content and retrieved recommendations, you are free to build your own display the way you want it.

If that sounds interesting to you, we’re happy to take you through the integration steps through email support.

    Does this answer your question?

    Kind regards,

    The Bibblio Team
