May be I gave a wrong URL in my admin panel for WP address and Blog address? But now I can’t access the darn thing ??

Ok I checked the URL which you gave. My database is backedup and ready. My template is also ready. Just that I screwed up at the last minute by editing that page, although I overwrote it with the original I still can’t seem to see my site.

Thanks Spencerp. I just mentioned that I did not want to move the files to the root and I knew that it worked earlier perfectly fine. Secondly, when I changed the URLs in the admin panel it gave me a 404 error similar to the current one. Anyway the point is to rectify the mistakes and ensure they never happen again. Please provide a solution.

I think I screwed it. I need help. I tried editing the Index.php file and now I can’t see anything.

As a precaution, I overwrote the original with index.php but it has not helped. I can’t even access the Admin Panel ?? Does anyone know the real issue?

Same question with a twist. Going by the logic applied in the earlier post, what if I do not want to MOVE the files from the installation directory (to the root) and yet point the URL at example.com. I think this can be achieved by editing the index.php. Just do not know how.

Thanks to everyone who replied on this thread. I have selected Bluehost.com to be my next host provider. Apart from WordPress Forums, I also came across good reviews elsewhere which prompted me to select them.
