In reply to: [Mastodon Autopost] Please include image alt textI’m also interested in getting this to work.
As a side issue, I’m not even sure why the featured images are being added to the post. I like it! But I’m not seeing anything in the settings that manages this. Am I missing something?
Thanks for the plugin!
I don’t think you appreciate my level of incompetence, lol! That’s why I need your plugin ??
I do already have a custom task for the date or I’m sure I would screw it up every single time. For now I have just drilled it into my head that I need to pick the day first, then do the rest.
I don’t know how useful that feature would be for other people. But you all are quite clever so you may make something out of it.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] A way to make “Post Author” block link to author archive?A question directly to the mods of this forum…
Is there a better place for us to raise this issue since there has been no official response here?
Ah, brilliant!
Do you know if there is a github issue for this at WP that could be upvoted? It really seems like a strange limitation.
Thanks
Thanks! I have since upgraded to the paid version where the title of the report was already included. But I do think this feature is good to have in the free plugin as you have indicated.
Best wishes!

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Getting a warningI have!
I didn’t realize that they could cause this. If you think that’s the case then I can probably just ignore it, right?
Thanks!
Thanks for your consideration! I’m glad I found your plugin.
Thank you!
Oh interesting!
Can you confirm that if I make a change to the WP post that is going out with a post notification, those changes will be sent with the following batches? For example, rather than pausing or deleting, could I just make the change on the post?
Also, from reading that article, it looks like only the Pro plan has that feature. Are you allowed to give me a link to the exact features that starter and pro have?
Just wanted to add that I have taken a look at the database tables and can’t find anything that would indicate what has been sent or not.
If the solution to this issue involves editing the tables (at my own risk) I’m happy to do that.

In reply to: [Editorial Calendar] Category classes not added to past published posts? In the end I decided that it would make the calendar simpler and easier to use without moving published posts.
So interesting! You certainly have succeeded in making the plugin usable.
There’s no way to send you to the new post editor with the post date set.
Ah, that would explain why the plugins that did a similar thing pre-Gutenberg no longer work.
I’m really impressed with what you have achieved. Thanks again.

In reply to: [Editorial Calendar] Category classes not added to past published posts?Oh my gosh that was fast!
Thanks!
I’m not sure this is worth making another post for, so I’ll just mention it here. I think I read somewhere that you intentionally disabled the drag and drop of published posts because it may cause problems with rss feeds. My $.02 is that WP already allows you to do this through the regular page interface. So not being able to do it in the calendar just adds an extra step for someone who is going to do it any way. Just a thought.
Also, I wonder if you would consider having something like
New | Quick New
in the same way you have edit and quick edit. My post creation is much more complicated than what can be done in a simple editor, so for my use case the current interface would never be useful. However being able to create a post for a specific date would be handy.Any way, thanks so much for this plugin. It really makes the project I’m doing much, much easier.
Ah, great. Thanks!
Oh, that’s great! better than setting the css.
Thanks for such a great plugin and for the quick response.
Oh, and I noticed that in the plugin FAQ question “Can I see a demo of the calendar?” it doesn’t say the user name and password to use. It is in the text above, but it probably should be there too.
