I enabled the “Sync php Timezone” setting as you suggested and this fixed the problem. All formats seem to work, but I will now set up form validation so only one format can be used. Thank You!
Yes, I believe that makes sense. So I will add an additional fee plan with a $0 value. Use that for claimed listings and the other paid feature for paid listings.
I will give it a try and let you know how I make out. thanks!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Searches on date field not working correctlyOK, thanks again. I think we will use this field as a text field.
There are not any time stamps being used when inputting or when searching. About 10 to 20 entries get added each day, but when searching for any particular day, it at most only finds 2 or 3 entries.
This is whether using the year or not when searching, or a variety of other ways.
During one test is was finding 3 of 14 entries when searching for a particular day. I took 2 of the entries and added a tech to the “tech” field. It then did not find those 2 entries when searching on the date. So it seems like when the record got updated it put a time stamp on it?
In any case, I am closing this out since making the field a text field just seems to be the most reliable way to make it work, unless you know another way. thank you!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Searches on date field not working correctlyThanks for the info. Sounds like the easy thing would be to just make that field a text field instead of a date field…. as long as dates are always entered in a consistent manner.

In reply to: [Participants Database] Searches on date field not working correctlyAnother interesting thing. I made some updates to 2 of the 3 records that were displayed on the search, and now those 2 records are not displaying. So it seem likes it only returns results for records that have not been updated (?)

In reply to: [Participants Database] edit record from front endThe complete template file you provided fixed the problem. Thank you so much!
I do not have an API key installed, so I will do that and let you know – thanks.
Also, thinking through I did have a recaptcha plugin installed that got an error when logging in and I deleted it and error went away. Just info I am thinking of.
I only had a couple other plugins.., wordfence, all-in-migration and contact form 7. deactivated all of them… same problem. Switch my theme to twenty sixteen… same problem.
Theme is currently still set for twenty sixteen if you get this soon and want to see.

In reply to: [EventCalendar] Version 1.0.55 generating a headers already sent messageUpdate – A second site, which I updated the plugin on yesterday, does not get the error described above, but when I went to upload a graphic into the media center a little bit ago, I get the error “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” Very generic error, but I also can not view any media in the media center, it just spins forever like it is loading.
I deactivated the plugin and the problem was solved. Reactivate and problem returns.

In reply to: [EventCalendar] Version 1.0.55 generating a headers already sent messageWell not sure, I was already logged in and was updating plugins, I then looked at the site in another window and saw the problem. I was able to do stuff in admin at that point, since I was already logged in. Plugin is deactivated at the moment so all is fine, but if I activated it, logged out and then tried to log back in and may not be able to. Not sure I want to try that at this point!
Got the permissions fixed on the facebook page and all looks good. thank you!
