In reply to: RSS feed broken / permanently cached?Ah yes apologies I didn’t read properly. I get the same.
I may be able to fix this, but without access to your server I can’t do much. Maybe you could download your “blog” directory, compress it and upload it to mediafire where I can download it.
That would be really good if you could do that because then I can see exactly what’s going on.
BenI just fixed it. Sooo frustrating. I’ve learnt my lesson. Anyway I better stop ranting. Let me know how it goes and I’ll see if I can help. More details would be nice. Because I can’t access your server to view your wordpress install, I can’t really do all that much.

In reply to: RSS not working. XML parsing error.AAARRRGGGGGGG!! I just discovered what the problem was. I added some scripts to index.php in the root of wordpress that redirected iPhone users to my web app, but once I deleted that, IT WORKED!!. OMG LOL. I DUH SO FAIL.
Hey Jon!
I have ran your feed through feed burner myself and it didn’t work. I also tried Safari on Mac and it failed to load. I tried it on iPhone and it worked. I tried Firefox and it works! However when I check it with the feed validator, it passes the test, unlike mine. ??
https://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3a%2f%2fjoncobler.com%2ffeedAll the same results as you.
Incredibly strange.
Check out my thread. I am making an advanced wordpress blog for my church.

In reply to: RSS not working. XML parsing error.Hey I still get the error after switch theme to Twenty Eleven and deactivate all plugins. IE spits this error out:
Only one top level element is allowed in an XML document. Line: 125 Character: 2 <script language=javascript>
Feedburner gives the same error as before.
I addition to all this I have redownloaded the latest wordpress from www.remarpro.com and replaced all the RSS files in wp-includes.
What else can I do?

In reply to: WordPress 3.3.1 import from .com site not workingHello everyone.
The post above is correct. Thank-you robmccardie!!
This is the solution I copied from lan_dawei’s post:
I created a local WP testcase to try this out.Yeah, I changed <wp:wxr_version>1.2</wp:wxr_version> to
<wp:wxr_version>1.1</wp:wxr_version>. It got rid of
the error banner/message that appeared at the top.I had to define the user as admin, and then when I started the actual import, I saw a number of error messages that said it was not read or imported (sorry, don’t have the exact message now), but when it was all done, checked the import and was successful.
