Try going into your media file. Click on the image. Under the image you’ll see “caption” “alternative text” and “description.” Try removing all the language from these areas and you should see the comments go away.

I moved everything to another theme. Accelerate, by ThemeGrill. Similar setup. Still took me a solid 8 hours of work.

Ooops Sorry answered my own question! For the record:

Go to Appearance/Customize/Header (NOT Header Image),

Then click on Show; you now have the option of showing the logo, text, both, or neither.

Thanks! I’ve got a call into them now. I looked at the site again, and some of the customization is still there, but it’s not being read correctly. No sliders are working, for example, even though the slider information is still listed in the customization. I’m waiting to hear from the theme creators too.

The images that work best in that space are 1440 px wide by 700 px tall. I use MS Paint to resize them as actual pixels – that way I know they fit and I can choose the resolution I want. If you make all three slider images 1440x700px, you’ll avoid that growing/shrinking/movement on the front page.

I was just trying to search questions others had asked about CF7 to make sure I didn’t repeat with mine. I found a search link somewhere down the line that let me search CF7 posts specifically. I was looking for a search feature at the top of the page. Sorry!
