now i changed back to 755 and it is stil working

exactly the same here. it was 755 (always was). changed to 777, not it works

I get exactly the same warnings after upgrading to 5.2.12

The photo-albums themselves seem to work ok.
deactivating the wppa plugin makes the site work ok, except the photos

Also when I upload a file from the IDevice using the standard upload function of WP (not wwpa), no EXIF info

When I upload the same picture using FTP and store it in i.e. the Depot map, all EXIF info is there. For me this is a convenient way of working.

When I make a post with a picture in the WP APP on my iDevice, the EXIF info is there.

It all sounds a bit strange to me, but to my opinion it is not the iDevice that is stripping the EXIF info, the EXIF info is only stripped in some, but not all, combinations with WP.

Again, it is not that important for me any more, because I found a convenient way of working. Thanks for your help anyway.

Additiona info 2:
It makes no difference, whether I use the WordPress APP on the iPad/Iphone or Safari.

Additional info:
when i upload the files using FTP to the “depot” map and use the import function to add the photos to an Album it works fine.

@opajaap I tried to implement this in my site. On your site you write “This feature requires the plugin Google-Maps-GPX-Viewer and the text w#location in the Custom box.”
I installed the plugin, but where to i put the text w#location ? What is a Custom box and where can i find it.
I am not that experienced with WordPress. Hope you can make it clear to me.

@opajaap Yes this is what I am looking for. Great job!!! Nice to see you included a choice of (OSM) maps. Personally i prefer to see map standard more zoomed out, but maybe you included a setting for it? A great plus would be a map where you can see al the pictures on a map, like in the Nextgen plugin.
