  • Hi,

I installed the plugin on a fresh wordpress install version 2.7.1, had that problem and worked it out fine after doing as instructed above. It’s been all working fine up until April 1st when it totally stopped updating the feeds. I have gotten 0 new posts to show since that day, for no reason that I can fathom since I didn’t change any setting or manipulate any files on the ftp server either.

Also now, when I try to add a new feed, it always says: Error: I couldn’t find any feeds at https://torridwear.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss [HTTP request error: name lookup timed out]. Try another URL

I don’t know what happened to break the feeds ? Please, help ? ??

Yay! Now syndicating wordpress.com feeds finally works, having done as said here. So far, only blogspot feeds were working, and I’m on a fresh 2.7.1 install.

Thanks! I found it very quickly. There’s one last thing I was wondering and it seems a little more difficult for me. I have one single category, level [0], that is the parent of all other categories, let’s say they’re all of them level [1]. On the ‘single’ page, I want to use the previous_post_link and next_post_link tags, but I want the links to work only within the child categories that are level [1].

Is there a plugin I should use for that or can the tags be instructed to do that ? So far, there’s only the option to display prev/next links for any preceding or following post that belongs to any category the post being viewed belongs to with ‘Previous in category’, be it parent or child or grand-child or grand-grand-child. I would like to restrict the prev/next links to work on the first-child level exclusively.

Thanks, and as for removing the ‘category’ segment from the url entirely, is it possible ?
