I am having the same Toolset compatibility issue. It just caused a lot of stress for a client’s senior leader thinking their site was down to the world after a major media effort to draw people there.

Toolset is advising downgrading to version 3.5 of your plug-in for now, which I am about to do. I notified them I am having the issue. It’s a BIG problem when this bug is encountered.

This is important to me too. Blocksy is the foundation of ALL my current projects, and one of the handful of leading-edge themes attracting most notice right now. I really need this fixed.

(I’m also a huge fan of SiteGround and your truly excellent support — this is the first troubling issue I’ve had. I need to know that SG Optimizer won’t make any breaking changes to my work.)

Is this fatal-crash issue fixed in Jetpack 6.3.3, released today?

The GitHub thread does not make this sufficiently clear, and one post in the thread gives the impression the fix may not be added until Jetpack 6.4.

Those of us who experienced a WSOD in Multisite would like to know whether it is safe to update Jetpack yet. Thanks.

I understand errors happen. This one white screened a client’s site, and then took down an entire network when I tried to fix it following your own troubleshooting steps. I have wasted literally a full day on diagnosing this, with no answers until I found this bug report.

Please look VERY HARD at how you notify users when something like this happens. My sites temporarily have Jetpack OFF and are missing features while you implement the fix. This was a major disruption for me.

How will affected users be informed when the next update is out?

We are running version 1.08.

We don’t get any error messages at all. Some of the crops — especially the featured image — are also vertically stretched so they are visibly out of proportion.

We are using the popular Enfold theme, version 2.9.2

Same issue here, and the ‘help’ link in the error message links to a non-working page.

Hi esmi — this is a complex, live site, so we can’t easily do most of what you suggest. We’re running a twenty eleven child theme, as stated.

After a lot of searching, I found a way to change the permalink structure from outside of the Dashboard.

It can be set using the RepairBuddy portion of the (commercial) BackupBuddy plugin.
