I’m not sure if the image will show up here… It’s a shared file from OneDrive.
My question is about the text in the input field on top of the page where i see ‘Search by title…’. I would like to translate this to Dutch. The text is in the POT-file but it looks like the plugin does not accept the nl_NL.mo file. I also tried to create it as a new language with loco translate and moved the language files to all possible locations but to no avail.- This reply was modified 9 months, 3 weeks ago by benny54.

In reply to: [Login IP & Country Restriction] Country blocking does not work for meIt looks like i found where the problem was. I had installed WP Optimize as a caching plugin. It seems that by default this plugin is caching the login pages for WordPress. I replaced it by WP Fastest Cache which by default excludes the login pages. For now when i test from a blocked country (using GTMetrix), the login page is not showing anymore and is redirected to the homepage as configured.

In reply to: [ELEX WooCommerce Request a Quote] Dutch translationHi,
Via the ticket that i opened, i informed support about the following:
“I did some debugging to find why the textdomain of your plugin is not properly loaded. The debugging tells me that the mo file is not found. It would mean that the path in /wp-content/elex-request-a-quote/src/RequestaQuote.php (line 338) is not correct.”
Thanks for your reply to my question. The first try did the trick. Disabling only Firewall > Additional firewall settings tab > Deny bad query strings was the solution.
Regards, Benny.
The problem that i described in my post was caused because i enabled:
Load form using AJAX
Enabling this feature will load the form via AJAX after the page has loaded up, effectively speeding up your page load time. This method can also (in most cases) avoid page caching issues with your form. With this option disabled the plugin works fine.
I tried to use Turnstile with my Forminator form but cannot get it to work.
I installed the plugin. Verified the Site and Secret key. But when i enable it for my Forminator form, i do not see the widget and the form is not sent. Trying to send gives the error: “Your form is not valid, please fix the errors!” When i disable the plugin the form is sent as expected. When i select the widget before the submit button, the button is not enabled at al.
I’m using PHP8.1, latest WP version and latest Divi version.- This reply was modified 1 year, 7 months ago by benny54.

Thanks a lot for the clarification
Hi Marek,
Thanks for your answer. I think the strange issue has to do with the laptop where i was testing the plugin. I did test on other pc’s now and the images are very stable.
I will send you an e-mail with the video of what i saw on this specific laptop and in google chrome only. But i’m quit sure the issue has nothing to do with this great plugin. Thanks, Benny.

In reply to: [Site Reviews] Language not changing back after WordPress language changeThanks for your prompt reply. I do not know why WordPress did not reload the dutch translation in my case then but I did solve the issue by means of the String translator (Site Reviews > Settings > Strings) within this great plugin.
I did some testing and found out that it was my own fault. I mixed up database passwords from both installs.
I found this by enabling WordPress debug.Maybe it is a good idea to integrate a check on database connectivity in XCloner.
Also when the database credentials are wrong, the database is not backed up. But there is no warning as far as i was aware. So users may think they have i viable backup until they are restoring and find an empty database…I have the same problem. I installed XCloner 4.2.161 on two new WP 5.5.3 websites.
Manual backup to my remote SFTP server works like a charm but when i try to create a schedule, i see a message stating that the schedule has been created but i don’t see it under schedules.
I checked for the table wp_xcloner_scheduler. This table is available.
I use XCloner on some other websites where i could create schedules in the past without any problem and these are still running fine.
Any suggestion?Hi Luibina,
I think it depends very much on what you are looking for. I use this plugin for a holliday home website to only show the status per day: available or booked. The free version of this plugin is more than fine for me. There is no need for syncing with Google Calendar or what so ever. However if you need an event calendar that is free and syncs with Google calendar you might give the Simple Calendar plugin a try. I use Simple Calendar for years now on a different website and it works great.
