With Google Chrome right click the area and select inspect element, this will allow you to see the ids/classes of the various elements in the footer.

The overall footer can be targeted with #footer-widgets and then you can progress from there.

What external links are you specifically referring to?

You need to move the files from your root directory to the /blog directory.

You can do this via FTP or through the cPanel File Manager (if your host provides this).
