Would you know why the preview snippet (some SEO plugins give you a lil preview of what your post or page will look like in google – yoast seo plugin) but in the snippet it shows the sub site and not the mapped site… Any way to make sure it shows the mapped site… And when its mapped like this google and bing will index by the mapped site and not the sub site url correct?

Ok thanks I will look into that… Seems strange though that one site would work and another would not… Not sure what to change or look for in my NGINX config… Will dive in a see if I can have a go… Thanks for all your support and help!!!

I have a wild card cert for my WP network (which is where the admins would log in) so thats HTTPS but then I would like the mapped domain that normal users go to be HTTP…

Maybe this would be easy with using a 301 redirect from http to https for the admin?

Are you using the picture fill method? I have enabled the plugin (in picture fill method) which seems like the one I would need since I am using S3 cloud front CDN…

The plugin looks to have worked and has a green retina circle next the image… However if I check my S3 bucket I only have one image… No @2x images have been uploaded there ??

Hey wow its been a month…

I have been working with the plug in… I see it was easy but DNS is just very confusing at first…

You would not have any idea why how to make the snippet previews in SEO plugins keep showing the newsite.mynetwork.com instead of what the plug in is mapping too?

I am using SEO by Yoast… I no its a long shot but just thought I would ask… By the way you are AWESOME for all the support you give on www.remarpro.com forums…

Sorry thats to much work right now… I will just use the old version until there is a fix… I am just reporting it… It really freaked me out cause i don’t have a testing server and this happened on my soon to be production server so I don’t want to take any chances…

Maybe in a few days I will start to build a testing server and see if I can’t figure it out there and report back… Thanks

I noticed the problem in 3.7.5 and then upgraded to 3.7.6 for a hope for the fix but problem was still there… was not able to check 3.7.4…

I was working on one of the sites in my network (i barely ever use the customizer) but I needed that to change someone and when I went in there it just kept refreshing and refreshing… I searched around online for some solutions and most people said to make a new folder in my wp-content folder called bad plugins and move all my plugins to there…

Then I checked to see if the problem had gone away… luckily it had… So i started to add the plugins back one by one until the problem began again… in the end the only plug-in left in the bad plugins folder was the all in one security and the site was functioning perfectly… So I went back to my old server and grabbed the older version and thats how I knew that would work… because it had before… so the bug is somewhere in there…

sorry meant 3.7.6 and I am running 3.7.3 which is working…

Not to sure about what the issue is… I am not advanced enough to write to or fix plugins…

I luckily had an old 3.7.3 version on another server and had not noticed any problems on there… I downgraded my new sites to that and everything works perfectly now…

So something between 3.7.3 and 3.7.5 broke the customizer for certain themes but not others… Some loaded fine while others just kept constantly refreshing…

Wish I could be more help…

After a lot more reading I figured out that AWS was confusing me with their DNS service… I see how this all works now…

really no one…. guess I will have to figure something else out ??
