In reply to: [Klasik] Aligning the slider imageI found a simple workaround. I wanted a single image and it would not align properly but changed tack and now have 2 slides and they are aligned.
I noticed that there are a few people having similar problems and waiting a while for support/feedback.
I am a none developer with a only a bit of WordPress experience and have found it much easier to work through some of these issues by downloading the demo data https://www.klasikthemes.com/codex/import-theme-xml-demo-data/.
Just be aware that this might involve importing a whole load of posts, pages and comments which you will have to clean up when you have what you need.
Thanks to the developers for providing this theme, and the demo material – I am really enjoying trying to create something with it.

In reply to: Remove comment sidebar when no comentsHi Karissa,
Thanks for the reply – unfortunately no solution yet. It is when there are no comments that I want the section to not show.
It is the tribute section in the sidebar which I am unable to shut down, I can add comments/tributes or you can see them displayed correctly here

In reply to: Search multisite for site nameCheers Mika. This looks like the right way to get what I am after and a good starting point.
What steps/further reading would I need to do to make this happen?
Thanks again

In reply to: CSS child coding not working…and after removing that it has finally worked.
Now I need to only make it apply to one page, bit cheeky to ask a second question but is there any way to get css to only apply to one template file?

In reply to: CSS child coding not workingSorry, don’t know where that ‘body {‘ came from, an earlier attempted fix I think

In reply to: CSS child coding not workingHi yogi,
Thanks for getting back to me. It is very much under development but this is a link to the site page
https://alwaysremembered.org/christophermcmanus/stories/
In the adult css is written
/* Page structure */ .site { padding: 0 24px; padding: 0 1.714285714rem; background-color: #fff; }
as mentioned above, on line 509. I have changed the background-colour and got the right results so I thought that by pasting this into my child css file
body { /* Page structure */ .site { padding: 0 24px; padding: 0 1.714285714rem; background-color: #001a35 !important; }
I would get the same results

In reply to: Not sure if my 2012 child theme is workingThanks Andrew,
It made a nice red border around the outside so I at least know that it is working.
Any ideas on how to apply it to only the specified template?
