Sorry to *bump* but can anyone help with where the 288px figure comes from for the header image in the Twenty Eleven theme?

Done a bit more testing…it looks as though the plugin does not play well with child themes.

The Plugin works with non-child themes on my set-up.

Thanks for the pointer, David. While I couldn’t get your code to work directly; I was able to amend the code to append ‘px’ to height and ‘%’ to width which gave me the result I was after.

Yes, sorry, I should have said I am working on a child of twentyeleven…I know that’s the best way to tackle it.

I’m editing content-featured.php in the child theme.

I’ve just tried “images” rather than “list”, but get “MissingImage” repeated for each sub-page.

I’ll chime in and say I would love to see an example of a bulletproof mini-loop. It’s a really powerful way of accessing page information that’s otherwise unavailable (the_excerpt, for example). I’ve tried a multitude of methods, but they produce some odd results.

Does anyone think they have the perfect implementation?

Thanks Durgé, I should have said I would expect to always use header.php, footer.php and sidebar.php. It’s obvious one you said it, but perhaps I should start with just index.php and see where I need additional controls and drop that new template in.

Anyone else?
