This is however not what happens. The Pretty Link URL is changed (/amp is added), not the Target URL.

So Pretty Link mydomain.com/gohere is changed by the amp plugin on the mobile website page to mydomain.com/gohere/amp.

However, this Pretty Link (mydomain.com/gohere/amp) is not defined in Pretty Links, and consequently it does not redirect to the defined Target URL, but to my website’s homepage (mydomain.com)

In Pretty Links I have created redirect pages in format mydomain.com/sometext. The amp plugin adds /amp to these url’s when viewing on a mobile. However, the redirect url with /amp added is not defined in Pretty Links. All Pretty Links url’s seem to have this /amp added at the end of the url, which do not redirect correctly and consequently return to the homepage of my site instead of to the Pretty Links defined redirect url. I did not know that the amp plugin also changed these Pretty Links url’s.

I have now created a corresponding /amp redirect in Pretty Links for each of the existing redirects.

Does amp support excluding Pretty Links redirects (not add /amp for these links)?

I don’t use any 3rd party for this, just uploaded the video and inserted a media block in the post.

When I opened this thread (3 weeks, 3 days ago), I already mentioned that the video was not showing. It’s the same amp page (on another page similar issue, the video there also does not show on the amp page).

I have reported it to WP Compress. They are investigating.

One thing I have noticed is a video on my page does not show on the AMP page. WP Compress already mentioned “We don’t touch videos, that could be due to AMP specifically or the video partner”. The video was uploaded to my site. When I disable WP Compress in the AMP plugin, the images appear as I mentioned before, but the video does not. Is this indeed something AMP related?

Meanwhile, I understand that suppression of this plugin is the only way to have a correctly functioning amp version of my site. Even though this means less mobile page speed performance

The AMP mobile suppression option seems to work, I believe all images are visible.

However, with WP Compress suppressed it also seems to affect the site’s speed, according to Google PageSpeed Insights.
One of the suggestions I got in the mobile test results section is “Use tools such as AMP Optimizer to server-side render AMP layouts”. I use WP Compress to increase website load speed.

Because with the WP Compress plugin and their CDN activated, not all images disappear, just some of them are not visible. Is it possible that you existed your AMP version somehow? Having AMP active in transitional mode doesn’t alter anything from your canonical (non AMP) URLs.

I have not changed anything to the code of the site, if that is what you mean. I don’t understand why it did not work before. If transitional works better than standard, are there specific reasons I should not just leave it at transitional mode?

I’ll taken a look at some of the plugins you have active and while I haven’t tested all I don’t believe the Facebook like button is AMP compatible.

For the content on your right sidebar can you confirm that you’re using TAC plus for the post previews on the right side of your site – which isn’t working in AMP? If so I’m happy to check this plugin. You may need to use a fully AMP compatible alternative.

James, what is TAC plus? Are you referring to the FB like box, or something else? I looked at the FB developers page and the code they offer does include java SDK, so I guess I can not get such a like box on AMP pages? Or do you know of an alternative? The 2 pictures in the sidebar are just HTML code to internal pages.

Also, coming back to both the infinite scroll and back to top, are you aware of a plugin or code snippet that offers these without java (so AMP supported)?
