I had a link to the site but it didn’t appear in the post. The site is: environmentalissuesforkids.com/

In reply to: Indexing a business not yet openThank you bdbrown, those are good references which I’ve seen before. But I guess my question is, will un-clicking the “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” box instantly & completely remove whatever constraints were put upon the crawlers when the box was initially selected?

In reply to: [Twenty Fifteen] Center page title in child themePerhaps it’s my procedure that’s wrong. using the code I listed, I simply placed it at the end of my child theme’s code, saved it and then uploaded it, overwriting the style sheet that was previously in my child theme.

In reply to: [Twenty Fifteen] Center page title in child themeHi. The code I listed does not work for that page only. That’s was what I was trying to accomplish. I want to center the title on page id=42. but the code I listed in my post above doesn’t work. I was hoping to find a code that does work.

In reply to: [Cazuela] How to stop the HyphenatingThanks for looking again, this morning I looked at it from a different device and noticed that there were fewer hyphenated words and in different places. So it seems that the theme formats itself differently on different devices. That being the case I suppose I won’t worry about it. Thank you for your efforts.

In reply to: [Cazuela] How to stop the HyphenatingIn the title of this post: https://blackpowdermuzzleloading.com/scouting-whitetail-deer-practice-makes-perfect/
The word “Practice” is hyphenated into “Prac” and “tice”
In the post itself there are eight hyphenated words such as “do” “ing”,
“re” “sponded”Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: Review Needed and help with ads.it’s difficult to review or critique a site without first knowing what your goals were. If you’re goal was to make it look and do exactly how it looks and performs right now then I would say “congratulations”.
However If there’s something specific that you are trying to achieve with your site, perhaps we could give our opinions on whether or not you’ve met that goal.
If I edit the stylesheet for the theme, won’t those changes be erased the next time I update my theme? would it be better to make the change in my child theme? If that’s the case, what would I put in the child theme?

In reply to: Navigation in Parquetry ThemeThanks for the help. You’re awesome.
I created the child-theme and it worked perfectly. However now I have just a couple of other questions, and was wondering if you or anyone willing, could help me with the code that could do the following:
I would like to move the navigation links more to the right in the header and I would like to capitalize the words in each link (their capitalized in the page I created, but not in the link). I also hoped to add some sort of boarder around each navigation link and maybe change the background color within that boarder.
thanks for all your help.

In reply to: Navigation in Parquetry ThemeThanks for the advice.
Yes, I can clarify. Currently when I add a new page to the navigation menu, it encroaches on the blog’s title causing the title of the blog to suddenly reformat itself into two lines instead of one.Example of how the blog’s title currently appears:
Black Powder MuzzleloadingExample of how the blog’s title appears after the wrapped text effect:
Black Powder

In reply to: How to change the Parquetry header imageOK, the only solution I have found is to fetch the header file using filezilla or other ftp. Then open the graphic in photoshop and lay ontop of it, as a new layer, any image you want. click save and then re-upload into your wordpess.
the header image is located in your wordpess at:

In reply to: duplicating podcasts and missing podcastsOk. I’m going to do the first option and offer the https://garyeugenehowell.com/feed/podcast feed as the podcast feed. Thanks for your help and I’ll let you know if it works.
